Spooky Contests
This Spooky Season, there’s two big competitions to participate in: a costume contest and a scary story contest!
You are allowed to enter each contest twice, for four total chances to win. Additionally, there will be four categories: popular vote, staff choice, most creative, and scariest.
Costume Contest:
Grab your grease paint and harness your sewing skills, this is a costume party for the ages! In this competition, you are to submit up to two images of any Ardent character in a Halloween costume! The art may be any visual art - digital (whether painted or photomanipulation), traditional, sculpting, cosplay, sewing, etc! While effort is important, quality isn’t the only determining factor! You may use any visual art that you create yourself.
Scary Story Contest:
Get your pens and keyboards ready and gather around the campfire! It’s time to tell some scary short stories! This story should be less than 1000 words and does not have to be about wolves at all, but can be if you so wish! The goal is simple: scare the pants off your readers!
Deadline for both contests is October 27 at 11:59 p.m. Ardent time to allow time for voting during the latest parts of spooky season.
The winner of each contest for popular vote will get a choice between the following prizes:
A Character Redesign Pass, an Inheritance Pass [Allows 1 pup from an on-site litter to inherit ONE purchase or event/donation reward from a parent (i.e. dire wolf height, minor fantasy feature pass, height, etc.]), or an Open Character Pass.
The winner for each other category (staff choice, most creative, and scariest) will get a choice between the following prizes:
A mutated companion pass (one small or large companion with a minor mutation), or 1,000 Gems.
Submit all entries via PM to the Ardent account, with the subject title as the contest you're entering (Costume Contest or Scary Story Contest)!
