Nothing seemed interesting since seeing her father again. Calamity found herself struggling to remain rooted in reality. She often found herself staring out into the distance at nothing at all. She wanted to talk endlessly with her other siblings about it, almost to the point of madness. The event certainly dominated her consciousness. The afterlife, their mission... their true godhood. It was tantalizing and confusing and invigorating - altogether a little bit too much for her young brain to comprehend.

Cala busied herself by running drills she had made up herself. With Sirius devoting his time to establishing the Armada, she hadn't seen him much. Part of her missed the familiar bulk of the titan. He had certainly made fighting fun. Her little horns had sharped to small spears atop her head, only just starting to pack a little punch. She was sweating despite the chilly spring air as she sparred with her own shadow.

The young Klein godlet stalked the redwater rocks, her movement controlled and steady. Until they weren’t. She was still very much trying to perfect her mother’s effortless stride. Living life was a little easier after seeing her father again. The weird shared dream opened her eyes to who and what they really were. Reality didn’t have to be so bad. She didn’t get lost in the spirit world, and she certainly preferred the land of the living even if the volcano was spewing. She still missed her father, but going on without his physical presence wasn’t terrible.

She paced on, dark ears perked forward when she heard her almost twin sparring with herself. Venom blinked back her curious gaze, she liked being around Calla. ”Want a real partner?” She offered curiously, wondering if Calamity would spar with her or just begin to talk about dad again.

A real partner? Calamity turned towards Venom, panting just a little bit. "S-sure," she muttered, staring sullenly at the ground. The princess had been stuck thoroughly stuck in her own head since meeting Archon again beyond the grave. Although she hadn't bonded very closely with her father in life, she felt a renewed connection with him now. It was impossible to forget. Cal felt like she was always living with one paw in reality and another beyond the grave.

"Okay. You've had more practice, but... don't go easy!" She announced, lowering her head like the little ram she was. Calamity even scraped her paw across the ground for added effect, like a bull moose about to charge. The princess headed straight for Venom with her head lowered just enough to level her twin horns at her sister. With any luck, she'd ram straight into Venom's chest, or at least catch her on either broad side of her rib cage.

Cala didn’t seem so sure of herself as Venom offered herself as a partner, her sister hadn’t been completely right since they’d met their dad again. Still, she seemed to convince her well enough because Calamity found her fighting stance without much more trouble. Venom smiled eagerly at her sister, if anything got her mind off her troubles it was a good spar.

Cala lowered her head and Venom watched as she was blatant with her intentions. Her sister was right, Venom did have a bit more practice than her sister and she let herself fall into her defenses. She pinned her ears and bent her joints, coiling her limbs so she could spring out of reach.

Just as was easily predicted Cala struck out with her antlers, and Venom did her best to dance around her sibling’s charge. She bounced out of the way and lashed out one of her sharp clawed paws in retaliation at Cala’s dark hips.

"Eeek! Cala yelped and went down as Venom's claws caught her hip and opened a fresh gash in her skin. Venom had been a bit more enthusiastic than her sister - or maybe she just knew what she was doing. "That hurt," she whined, taking a moment to collect herself and try to get back on her feet. "Keep your claws in if we're just practicing! S'not fair," she added, grumbling a bit. Venom's blessings seemed far more useful than hers, especially because you didn't see them right away. There was no hiding an entire rack of antlers.

Calamity tried to mimic Venom's pose and lowered her center of gravity to a better position. Her muscles settled in to this new position after a bit and she shook her antlers in what she hoped was a menacing stance. A headlong approach hadn't worked the first time at all. Fighting a real opponent - and not a wall or a tree - was proving to be a bit more difficult than she'd ever thought. Cal grunted and started to prowl around Venom is a circle, ducking in quickly to try and poke her right shoulder with the hard tip of her antlers.

”Well, you said don’t go easy.” Venom offered with a dark grin as she felt satisfaction at drawing blood. She wouldn’t give her sister any harder of a time as she returned to her paws and took on a similar defensive pose to Venom’s. The girl smiled and lowered her head as Cala returned to the offensive. She made herself a bit less obvious and as her antlers came in again Venom was caught. Her shoulder was impaled lightly, enough to make a bruise but not enough to break the skin.

With Calamity so close now Venom aimed to bear hug her sister, careful to keep her claws sheathed. She aimed to avoid antlers and hold on with paws and her jaws aimed to grasp her sister’s scruff for control.
