Returning home

She had been growing more and more weary the past few days of travel. Even though she had found one of her cousin's she had not slept much. They had to take a few days to build Snow's strength so that he could make the travel back home. She had either hunted, or stayed awake keeping the boy protected and warm through the nights. When he was ready they started to head back home. When they would stop to rest Actaea would only lightly sleep always staying on edge to keep Snow and her companions well protected. She was determined to bring him home safe and sound.

Finally the surrounding area became more and more familiar as they moved forward and the scent of the pack lingered on the breeze. She smiled and looked down at the large pup.

"Almost home," her voice remained calm and warm, despite how tired she was feeling.

They continued to move, her companions lingering at the rear and watching for any potential trouble. She was relieved that they would almost be home, happy to know she had at least tracked one down. She was extremely concerned that she couldn't find any sign of Whittaker or Heloise and knew her Uncle would be heartbroken over them, but she had at least found one of them. When she grew closer to the borders she lifted her head and let out a summoning howl to Uncle, her cousins, and Ignis to tell them that she was finally home.

"Your father and siblings will be so happy to see you," She said to him after her howl.
