Theory was hellbent on rounding up stragglers from their return to the mainland. The pack seemed so fragmented now... was it her own fault? It was difficult to keep everyone together when tragedy seemed to lurk around every corner. Abaven felt haunted in so many ways, but she couldn't give up on it. She wouldn't. This pack was more than her home, it was her family. While things looked bad now, she still felt somewhat safe here. It pained her to think that some of the pack might not feel that way.
Once she gathered everyone together, maybe some other wolves might speak up. She had returned to these lands at Shaye's behest - to honor her mentor's dying wish. Theory had no love for the land itself, especially after the recent disasters. Serpent Plains, Rustling Thicket, Monument Rapid? They were just places. Abaven wasn't a place, it was the wolves who lived here. She'd have to prove that to everyone in the pack. Restlessly she paced along the borders of the plains, tracking down the faintest scent of Abaven wolves.
