ooc;; set after Valhalla challenge (keeping outcome vague for that reason but just a quick post), she knows she's trespassing? Visiting a grave ;D someone can come view but she won't be stopping.

Her vision was cloudy and hazy, movements a stagger to the point where she could barely keep herself upright. She felt? Woozy? Blood still flowed freely from her spine and yet she had not stopped to see her comrades, she had not stopped to see Sibelle and her fight. No. Something dragged her forward. She had to go. She had to do this. her mouth tasted foul, harsh like copper and yet she would not swallow, saliva dripping in stringy globs from her lips, tinted red. It was all for him? For possibly the first time in her life she paid no mind to the scent markers and moved right by. She knew this areas too well? She had buried him here after all. She would continue until she hit the slight uphill and then the den that Kylar had brought her to to show her where his children had been born. Vixe was buried directly to the right. She would only stop when he paws came to the once upturned dirt she had dug for him almost a year ago now. So long ago and yet the wounds felt all too fresh. For a moment she would stand, neck arched as she gazed down at the snowy ground. There would be plants growing there now, feeding off the nourishment from his body? Was he still down there? Trapped within his own rotting remains until he became one with the earth or had his spirit traveled on to join the goddess?

Finally jaws would part and sticky saliva would roll off her tongue, gobs of semi clotted blood dripping from her tongue where she had collected it. She had collected it throughout her battle. As well there was a fresh wound on her right forelimb not caused from the battle that also bled freely. She had added that blood to the mixture. Tongue would lash and roll back in her throat, flicking at the back of her throat until stomach convulsed and the contents were emptied on the pure white snow. Blood, flesh and her last meal were there as well as the black bile that filled her stomach. "I only wish? I could have brought you more?" She whispered to his grave, hoping that perhaps he might be able to hear her. Lantern gaze would close momentarily, tears beginning to burn in the backs of her eyes but she would not let them fall. No. He deserved so much more? She would not let him see her cry so with that the red woman would turn, draw in a deep breath and follow her tracks back out. She still did not know her standing here and she was in no state to fight. Yes? It was time to go home?

Fight starts where the ** is.

The red forest had quickly become her home- the haven that had provided her more security than her den in the gorge. Some nights she'd still awake in the throws of nightmares from the earthquake that had nearly trapped her inside of her stone alcove. Now, she had a small den, that she had dug out from the base of a red-wood. A different den than the one she had suffered her illness inside, she didn't want to stay there- should the illness attack her again. The perks of living in the red forest, was that she maintained a near constant presence in the land. This was her home, and she would be damned if anyone would intrude on it. She made her rounds, slightly disappointed that no wolves were are the borer, seeking entry- and that she didn't see any of her Glaciem kin. Now that Athena had taken the throne, she was curious about how things were going in Glaciem. She was lost in her thoughts, as she plodded around the borders when the scent of a stranger wafted through the air.

**Instinctively, she froze- her body sliding into the defensive positions it knew so well. Her head and tail, aligned with her spine. Her shoulders rolled back, muscles tensing in her abdomen. Her hackles raised, ears flattening against her head, as her eyes narrowed. She tucked her chin slightly, to protect her throat- her legs spread for balance and her claws digging into the soil. Her ivory fur fluffed, making her appear larger- and helping to protect her from wounds she might receive. Then she would attempt to move forward along the border towards the source of the scent. She would attempt to move rapidly, to beat the other wolf to her exit. Her violet eyes would lock onto the crimson form of the other wolf, and she would snarl, before attempting to launch herself from the thick of the brush and towards the trespasser.

She would attempt to attack from the left side, emerging from the thick of the brush. As she launched herself forward, she realized why the scent was so familiar. It was the wolf who had poisoned her! She would attempt to charge into the left side of Viridiana. Her jaws would open in an attempt to bite into he woman's left shoulder, before violently thrashing her head. In this bite, she would attempt to bite deeply into the other wolf's shoulder, her thrashing to help destroy the tendons and ligaments permanently in her shoulder. This russet bitch had poisoned her pack! She had poisoned, Roman herself- and now she trespassed as if she owned the place?! Her claws dug into the ground, her tail thrashing behind her for additional traction and balance as she snarled.

ROMAN VS VIRIDIANA FOR MAIM FOR TRESSPASSING

There was no catching a break and honestly... She had mind of expected to be stopped, kind of expected to start a fight. Maybe that was what she had been looking for. Maybe she just had a death wish. She couldn't say one way or another, couldn't pinpoint her sudden desire to be punished. She was already ruined, already permanently scarred... Why not worsen it? But the face that came barrelling out of the bushes was not who she had expected. And yet... A small smile spread over her lips. The only leader to not agree to peace, the one who had accused her of poison. This was probably the worst place to trespass and yet she had, and yet she had tried to sneak in and out while leaving a very obvious trail of blood. Silly Vi...

Everything ached but still she had to do this, had to fight if she wanted to leave. Defences settled as easily as breathing, well versed after her most recent fight. Skull would drop, parallel to her neck as shoulders rolled forward and jaw tipped down to cover her neck. Jaw unhinged as nose wrinkled into a snarl, gathering flesh around narrowed eyes. Ears folded back to her skull as hackles raised. She didn't have time to centre herself, instead joints would loosen and she would fling herself into the heat of battle, toes flexing so claws could dig into the earth for extra reaction. Roman was faster. Stronger. She was healthy. Had she trusted Vi's cure after all?

Vi would attempt to turn herself quick enough to meet Roman head on, jaws instead drifting bloody gouges into the red woman's chest, upper left hand side close to her forward shoulder and above her ribcage (or whatever the chest bone there is called). She had to take it, it would scar but she didn't have time to counter, didn't have time to barely react other then to spin herself and face her opponent. Vi would attempt to shove herself forward, attempting to use their opposing momentum to collide their chests. Jaws would gape as neck arched back and she attempted to lash forward and close her jaws over Roman's eyes. Should she succeed she would snap jaws closed and attempt to drag bloody lines across the woman's face and blind her in both eyes.

Rage exalted her, gave her additional strength she didn't know she possessed. Did her father feel this alive in battle? Is this what made him such a war-lord. Her heart hammered in her chest, pushing endorphin's through her body. She felt as if she'd never lived a day before in her life. Her opponent would turn suddenly, perhaps the strangled snarl of battle had alerted Viridiana to her presence? She'd have to work on that. Roman collided instead with the womnan's chest, her teeth colliding along the russet woman's chest. Her own chest bruised with the impact of the hit, and she ducked her head down- attempting to bite into the woman's left shoulder again, this time from the front. While she attempted to bite into Vi's shoulder, she attempted to push her weight forward, hoping to unbalance the other woman, or at least give her own attack some momentum.

As she ducked her head down, her jaws gaping as they attempted to seek the tendons and ligaments of the shoulder, she felt teeth graze her head, had she moved any slower- she would be blind. She threw her weight and mind into her attack, her claws digging into the ground, her tail waving behind her as if it was a rudder. Her head stung, where Viridiana's teeth had grazed it, and crimson blood began dripping, pooling down her face. It dripped into her eyes, skewing her vision, but she would not relent. She flattened her ears, if possible, even tighter to hear head- and her hackles remained raised, as she thrashed her head about. She readjusted her paws, standing as wide as she could for extra balance. Her muscles tensed, and her heart raced. She was almost excited. Is this what war could feel like?

She knew the adrenaline of battle well, she knew the overwhelming urge to carve every emotion you felt into your opponents flesh. But today she didn't feel that, all she felt was tired. There was no adrenaline coursing through her veins to numb the pain, no excitement at the prospect of winning. No. She deserved this. Almost as soon as Roman avoided her attack Vi regretted it, why was she trying to maim this woman? She didn't deserve it, she was fighting to protect her pack... Vi could honour that. So instead of throwing her head down to attempt to grab the woman's scruff and slam Roman's face into the ground like she so desired to she would instead skitter backwards and allow teeth to find their target. Roman's lower jaws sinking into the wound she had already created and upper jaws closing around the meat of Vi's shoulder. Blood flowed freely as Vi attempted to spin, feeling meat and muscle rip free. The front tendons of her should being punctured as Vi attempted to rip herself backwards. "Take your pound of flesh as payment. I deserve it. I will not come here again without permission good queen. I simply can't to pay a debt to a friend buried here. For that I apologize..." Words were breathy and harsh though not because she didn't mean them simply she was tired. Vi would attempt to bow her head and turn to leave, unable to place any weight on her left leg now. She would go through the motions of walking though wounded paw would not touch the ground or bare weight. Fuck it would be a long walk home.

She was expecting an attack- something from above. Adrenaline coursed through her, her hear hammering in her chest. It mixed with fury and endorphin's that sent the messages through her body to be relentless. She was surprised to feel Viridiana pull back, Roman's teeth taking a chunk out of her shoulder as the russet woman did so. Her muscles tensed to charge forward again- defenses falling back into place, as the other wolf spoke. 'Take your pound of flesh as payment. I deserve it. I will not come here again without permission good queen. I simply can't to pay a debt to a friend buried here. For that I apologize...' Roman spat out the flesh in her jaws, the skin landing at her feet. "Go." Her words were ice, nearly as icy as the gaze she fixed upon the russet woman, her fur still bristling. Blood still pooled down her face, and she knew she had to look a sight. She's watched the other wolf's head lower- and as she left, Roman would remain rooted to the spot, her gaze firm on the wolf leaving- and the border as it was crossed. A flicker of guilt burned in her mind, as she glanced down at the chunk her teeth had taken from the other wolf's shoulder. Had she overreacted? Letting out a sigh, she could feel her heart-rate slow, as her body slowly relaxed. Turning away, she began her walk back into the thick of the forest.
