Kirsi was quiet as she moved through the pine forest, weaving between the trees with ease. It was early morning, just after dawn - the sun had begun its steady ascent above the horizon and was casting a soft pink glow over the grey sky. It was quite the sight, even if most of the view was obscured by the trees towering overhead, and for a long moment Kirsi allowed herself to pause to enjoy the scenery. Part of her was tempted to retrieve Song from their shared den to join her in watching the sunrise, but he was sleeping soundly enough that she'd feel bad for waking him.

Ah well. He'd be around later. For now, she wasn't totally sure what she wanted to do; the world seemed still and quiet and for now she was content to enjoy the peace. It was a far cry from the type of morning she would've once labeled as ideal but Kirsi was adaptable, and as her circumstances changed.. well, so had she, at least on the surface. A content sigh fell from the small woman's lips as she padded on, ears swiveling as she listened for the sounds of anything out of the ordinary, half-certain she'd heard someone's approach.

Tsunami had long become used to the lands they'd been moved to, though she had to admit it felt a little empty without her father and most of her siblings had dispersed as well, they had all grown distant. And that included her, she hadn't made an effort to keep up with them either but she wasn't really sure where she felt she belonged. She felt like a loner in her own pack. Tsunami mostly kept herself busy with small duties she thought were probably important but she really felt aimless.

So it was that the young Preator girl wandered just as aimlessly through the pines, moving with the ease of someone who was familiar with their surrounding, familiar enough she could turn her brain off a bit, she was much less aware of what was happening than she might have otherwise been. It wasn't until she rounded a pine and found herself looking at the pretty blue woman she'd seen around a bit that she realized just how out of it she had been. For a moment she paused, uncertainty flashing across her face for a moment before she composed herself. "Good Morning." She said simply, lifting his voice so as to make sure she was heard.

It seemed she wasn't entirely mistaken. The sound of pawsteps grew more audible, convincing her quickly that she hadn't been simply hearing things. Despite being part of a sizable pack, Kirsi hadn't really branched out to meet as many wolves as she knew she should have by now... but there was always time to become more integrated into the pack. Like right now, for example. Redirecting her path so she was trailing after the stranger's scent, before long she paused and then the younger girl stepped to meet her, apparently on accident. Kirsi grinned faintly at her - she wasn't quite a pup, but wasn't terribly far into adulthood yet either. It felt like just yesterday that she'd come to these lands, not much older than the female she was currently face-to-face with...

"A good morning indeed," Kirsi replied, letting her smile lift just slightly. It was not terribly hard to feign politeness to younger wolves, especially ones who reminded her however vaguely of herself. "Though a bit of a quiet one." More quiet than she would've liked but she wouldn't complain about some time for personal introspection, even if she preferred to keep herself busy in other ways. That thought suddenly sparked an idea. Perhaps it was an opportune moment to not only hone her own skills, but work on this girl's as well. If they were to be raiding soon, shouldn't they all be ready, regardless of age or skill? One could never be too prepared, after all.

"I'm Kirsi, if you didn't know." Maybe she'd caught her name, or maybe not, back at one of the meetings - either way Kirsi wouldn't be surprised. "If you're not too busy, would you maybe want to take some time to work with me for a bit today? With Acere planning on raiding soon, we should make sure we're prepared," she added lightly, unassuming. She had no idea what Tsunami knew in terms of fighting, but with their similar builds and sizes, she hoped she could teach the younger girl a thing or two.

She'd seen the blue and white woman around but hadn't spoken to her at all yet. Her greeting was returned with an observation and Tsunami chewed on that for a moment. She was used to the quiet now more than ever but she couldn't deny there was something in this morning that felt different. The older woman spoke again offering a name and Tsunami dipped her head in greeting. "Tsunami Praetor." She responded in kind, though she had never rejected her mother's last name she had found herself using it less and less in her introductions... Though that left her with only her father's name, something she wasn't certain she was happy with either.

Kirsi asked if she'd help and Tsunami nodded slowly, she had no real plans otherwise and she was antsy to try and prepare herself for the upcoming raids so really it wasn't outside of her own personal goals. "I'd be pleased to help." She said, taking a small step in towards the older woman, she was curious what exactly Kirsi had in mind. She'd had her fair share of scraps but no proper fight training, but she also knew there was more to fighting than simple experience, sometimes learning strategy was important, though she knew putting them into practice also mattered, so really she had no idea...

Maybe Kirsi would be interested in weapon craft for the pack, that was something she'd yet to so much as dip her toes into. All these ideas rushing through her head Tsunami couldn't help but feel a bit excited by whatever it was they were going to do.

"A pleasure," Kirsi replied to Tsunami's introduction with ease, letting her smile linger for a moment longer than it might normally. The quietness of the morning definitely led to her feeling a bit more introspective than she might normally, given how little seemed to be going on this morning - and currently her thoughts were future-oriented, thinking about the upcoming raids as well as her own goals and desires. Integrating herself more wholly into Winterfell's culture was something she definitely needed to work on, and this was a good first step.

The younger woman seemed eager to join her, which pleased her, causing her lips to curl up into an even larger smile. "I assume you'll be joining the others in the raids?" She had a look of determination about her that was undeniable, and Kirsi would be surprised if Tsunami said her intentions were otherwise. "I was thinking we could work on some... agility training, if you will. You're built like me. We don't - can't - fight like savages, even if we might feel compelled to. We have to use the terrain and our advantage." Hopefully she was interested in a lesson of sorts; not that Kirsi was terribly skilled like some of Winterfell's fighters were, but she'd had enough life experience to have advice of her own to give a young packmate. As far as she was concerned, Tsunami likely had something she could teach her too, regardless of her age.
