Adopting Banshee had been a spur of the moment decision, it had felt right in the moment, and every moment after. There had been a time when Sirius had thought himself incapable of siring children, and now he had a litter on the way, and a full grown woman to call his own. It put a lightness in his steps as he made his way through his morning routine the next day.

When he found the scents of a male bobcat that had staked near his terratory line, it would be Banshee that came to mind, instead of Risen as it had been lately. He could scent that the young cat was searching for terratory to call his own, he had likely separated from his mother not long ago and sought to make his place in the world. Sirius would not allow him to find it on the steps of Armada lands.

He scouted a little more, and got the fist of the direction the creature had gone, before he moved further into Amrada terratory, and called for his daughter.

Banshee's slumber had been a bit shaky which resulted in her sleeping in quite a bit. Anxiety seemed to rack her brain from the day before but it wasn't all negative. Anticipation of what was to come factored in quite a bit. What would it mean to be Sirius' daughter? How would others react? Was it under wraps? The babe allowed the worrisome questions to rake against her mind all night before finally crashing and waking up to a howl. Baby blue eyes flashed open as inky lashes fluttered away the fogginess. She looked around her den for a moment before realizing that it had been her Alpha and adoptive father who had summoned her. She shook her fur out after standing. Stretching each of her lean limbs with a tiny growl of satisfaction. With that the fae moved towards the direction of the call.

Upon arrival two scents filled her nose; Bobcat and Wolf. Eyes connected with that of the massive form of the Warlord but said feline was no where to be found. With a raised brow Banshee moved carefully yet hastily towards Sirius. "Sorry if I made you wait..." A nervous wrinkle of her nose. "I slept in a bit." Banshee then raised her head with a curious look in her fierce blue eyes. "It smells strong of Bobcat here..."

The Warlord took a seat, looking up at the lightly clouded sky as he waited. He buried his anticipation of the hunt to come, he always relished the challenge of facing another predator, and he wanted to see how Banshee responded in the field. She held similar tools to his own, but their training had not moved on to live opponents.

She arrived with haste, anxiety written in the scrunch of her nose as she looked to him. “Banshee” he said, nodding his head in greeting, not allowing a moment of awkward uncertainty to befall them. The elements of their relationship had changed, and he was not a touchy-feely wolf, and nor, he believed was his daughter. Action would do them better than words.

“Indeed.” He agreed, nodding his nose towards the Hot Springs. “He’s a bit too interested in our borders, what say we help him decide to move along?” He suggested. Move along could be death or chasing, to Sirius, it did not matter.

Banshee did not feel awkward with Sirius, she never had. The male was blunt and strong which was nice in comparison to the manipulative nature of the Kleins. She was not fond of flattery but to show your worth with what you do. Intelligence and strength were prized in the yearling's mind. Which was why she was working at her own skills to improve upon herself. Nevertheless, as Sirius nosed towards the hot springs Banshee allowed her attention to follow. Baby blue eyes remained narrowed as she scanned the region with interest. The scent would presumably be easy to track unless the Bobcat would lose them in the mess of pools yonder. "A Bobcat is the last thing either pack needs with all the pups soon to come."

Careful steps were made forward as Banshee dipped her head downward. She examined the paw prints and inhaled the feline's aroma. Banshee wasn't the greatest tracker but the scent was thick enough to make their job easy. Tossing a look back at Sirius the babe spoke up once again, "It shouldn't be difficult to track 'em." She then began to move through the grass with eyes flicking from the prints to the wilderness with high alert. Bobcats were a smaller feline but still very vicious and often aggressive. She'd be ready for an attack at any moment while maintaining pace with her Alpha.

She got the point very quickly, pointing out that a bobat would not be welcome with weak creatures such as pups around. Sirius would not allow any danger to enter his pack lands, or get anywhere near the sight of his den. He raised his head, motion brisk, as Banshee took to finding the scent without delay. A small, quiet smile touched his lips, a subtle gesture of pride as he moved to follow after her, letting the younger wolf take the lead.

Just like that, the two of them would be on the hunt, moving from the pack territory and into that of the hot springs as they took up the task of finding the predator that had strayed so close to their borders.

The scent of the hot, aromatic waters hit them soon after that, and it became much more difficult to find the scent of cat beneath it. Sirius grumbed, and began searching for signs of his passage through the undergrowth, looking for any point he had rubbed up against, sniffing at the base of trees, trying to find his scent where it lay the strongest.

They yearling took point with her adoptive father behind her. She felt confident with such a skillful beast taking up the caboose but would not let such take her guard down. Bobcats were vicious and often aggressive. But, so were territorial pack Wolves. Banshee was eager to teach the feline a lesson whether that meant death or just driving 'em out with enough injuries to teach a lesson. Her dappled nose maintained it's sniffing as she followed the trail with ease. Eyes were flicking from tracks and then to the area around her. She didn't want to become the prey in this situation by keeping her eyes in the dirt.

Weaving through the humid pools of water Banshee saw a flash of movement. A feline figure lingered around the cusp of a bubbling pool and Banshee got low into the brush. Her tail flicked slightly as a low growl, just loud enough for Sirius to hear, moved up her throat. Banshee was sure he would take the subtle hint and follow her gaze to the Bobcat. Knees and elbows bent to lower herself to the ground as well as evenly distributing her weight between four sturdy paws. Ban flicked her head to the right to signal her direction, hoping Sirius would take the left. Banshee was smaller and likely a tad faster then the brutish beast she called father. Banshee would wait for a signal from Sirius at this point.
