It was late, and the still young pups were asleep in the den. It gave Sirius a chance to make his rounds across the terratory, he did not want to feel like he was neglecting the Armada. As he walked, his thoughts were on Zee and their children, and of the young healers they had in the den to help her with whatever tasks she needed. He was glad he had kidnapped, or rather... helped along... the joining of these wolves, so that his Queen might have some help during this busy time.

He reached the terratory that separated him from the Shrine, he didnt need to o much patrolling here, Deathbelle kept her part of the land safe and free of predators, but it was better to be safe then sorry. His primary task once had been to protect her, and some habits died hard. He paused on the very line that separated them, marked heavily by his steps and hers. The shadows of both their paw, as through they could have been walking together across this terratory.

Zee had left the sleeping pups with Bird, entrusting the young wolf to howl for her if they woke and needed to eat. Luckily Bast was there as well as Marshal, and so if Bird fell asleep or couldn't properly read their cues then the cat-bird duo would surely come to the rescue. She crouched after Sirius stealthy, stalking him on his patrol. Her tail swung behind her, her eyes alight in the moonlight. She was careful to be silent as she made her way through the grasses, and once he'd paused on the border of Ashen and it's Armada Zee sprang from her hiding spot. She aimed to land her paws upon his side and push him over, a playful growl upon her lips. They'd soon see how rusty the direwolf had become since the pups were born, or if his skills were still perfectly honed.

It was almost strange to be exploring without his companions, but they were better put to use watching over his children. He trusted them to protect them, and fetch him quick as could be if he was needed. It freed him up to concentrate on his patrol, but left him with put some of the perception he was accustomed to. Still, even without Marshal to give a soft cry, he heard the steps of someone small near by. He was uncertain who else was out and about this late and he dismissed them as he concentrated on the border between Ashen and the Armada, straining his senses to ensure all was well within the other side of the Empire.

He did not expect the small wolf to attack him, and he caught a flash of tawny blue and horns, before he was knocked off his feet by the small force of Zee. He mostly let himself get driven to his knees, letting out an 'oof' as she fell upon him. He rolled completely, letting her land into of him and fall onto his belly if she followed his motion. "You got me." He said, his tone already rising to a warm, husky sound as he eyed his wife.

Zee was overly pleased that her sneak attack was successful, and as she pranced off his belly she wore a happy grin. "I got you!" She echoed, lifting her head high and proud. A part of her wondered if she was slowing, growing sluggish with the extra fat and skin from birth. Had she been paying closer attention she might have realized that the titan allowed himself to fall and wasn't forcibly taken down, but she was in much too good a mood to consider the possibility. In fact, she was in too good a mood to notice his low shift in tone and what thoughts he was trying to get across. She walked over to him and moved to put her front paws upon his belly as if standing upon a mighty fallen beast. "See I'm not out of shape, you are!" She accused happily. "Gonna have to work on these muscles of yours before the pups grow up!"

She crowed with the delight of her win, and laughed along with her. She was still surprisingly quiet and nimble as she had made her way behind him, she still wobbled a little of course, but she didnt seem to be one to let it slow her down. Even with the extra weight, she felt light as a feather across his belly, his small, beautiful wife.

"Your completely right of course, I'm out of shape in all sorts of ways. Now would be a good time for excersise, in fact..." he teased, grabbing the paw she had placed on her belly and held her down as he flipped himself over, placing her trapped beneath him.

With this far more advantageous position, he looked down at his wife, lips parting in a sly grin before he darted forward and planted a very wet kiss across the side of her face and down her muzzle.

Zee gasped loudly as Sirius grabbed her and flipped her, letting out an oof of her own as her back hit the ground. Pinned beneath him, she had no way to struggle away from his very wet kiss and instead spluttered in mock disgust. "Hey now." She chastised quietly, wiggling beneath him and leaning forward to wipe her wet face on his neck fur. "You need to get better at letting smaller wolves win, our poor children will feel forever overpowered by their titanic daddy." Her jaws parted near his neck to try and get grasp of the long fur there, hoping that if she could get hold that she could use his weight to pull herself free of him. So much for patrolling, right? Absently she wondered if her children would grow to his size, and if one day they too would overpower her.
