meet me at the garden gate
He was out on his own today, Asla wandered out after a rabbit, his brothers were out doing who knew what. So Indigo did what was most natural to him, the boy found his way to Iolaire’s garden. It was quiet, the smells of the garden soothed him, and Indy felt fully relaxed here. The boy wore a soft smile on his features, his eyes were closed as he lay underneath the small willow in the garden. If allowed he might have just lived in his aunty’s garden.

Since he revelation with Sirius and the help of Io, Banshee felt like she had an inkling of purpose now. She doubted she'd ever feel completely at home but the Fatalis and Armada family were welcoming her quite a bit. She also had the backing of her friend Iroh who seemingly gave her a touch of hope in her darkest moments, time and time again. Since the arrival of the royal pups Banshee felt as though she had a lot of free time on her paws. Tending to the gardening and crafting is how she spent most of it. As well as assisting with border patrol to ward off any bold predators. But, on this particular day Ban moseyed on towards the garden in hopes to find a way to fill her time. Upon arrival a familiar scent filled her dappled nose. Baby blue eyes scanned the region before landing on a vibrant pup laying beneath the Willow. Ban cocked her head to the side before a tiny toothy grin slipped across her lips. Out of all of the royal spawn Indigo had been her secret favorite. He didn't seem to need the spotlight like his siblings and just took things in. Nevertheless, the Fatalis-Klein moved closer to her new sibling with ease. Banshee stopped a few tail lengths away with her head high and a flick of that earth toned tail, "Do you mind if I join you, Indigo?"

The boy enjoyed her company and it was easy for him to look up to her, and he was glad that she liked to enjoy the garden as much as he did. She approached him and stopped close before asking to join him. Indigo nodded, the smile still playing on his dark lips. ”Yes, please.” He uttered softly, wondering if she would find time for a lesson with him too. ”What are you doing, Ban?” He asked her, she was older and had many more responsibilities than he did. He was curious about her, and already saw her as an idol figure. Someone to look up to like he did his mom or dad.

Banshee was aware that the new pups considered her to be a true sister. It was clear that she did not look the same as the others but was treated like one of their own non the less. Ban enjoyed having what felt like a complete family. It was true she was growing older and was rather independent but she had a lot of conflicting emotions when it came to family. Ban was growing old of feeling sad all the time so she was trying to move past whatever may trigger negativity when it came to her parents. She never desired to be seen as some weeping dramatic yearling and felt as though she had been going down that path. Now she would focus on being a good big sister and bettering herself. Indigo invited her to sit and Banshee was happy to oblige. The yearling moved to sit next to him with a curious gaze. She took in his vibrant purple and red coat as well as those growing fangs. She couldn't help but to smile. Out of all four of the royal pups he was the most unique in pelt coloration. Banshee assumed there must have been purple in Zee's bloodline since she had that teal on her back. Sirius was monochromatic so he likely wouldn't have provided that trait. - Her thoughts were swept away by his question. Banshee offered a tiny shrug, "I finished my patrols and foraging this morning. I came to the gardens to do some watering and to check up on some of the herbs." The jobs could be done at any time really, just as long as they got done. "What are you up to?"

The young prince was still in miniature, one day he’d grow into his huge paws. For now he was quite small compared to his big sister. Banshee was nice and Indy really liked to spend time with her, especially in the garden. ”Dad hasn’t taken me on a patrol yet.” He stated simply, but his voice made it obvious he looked forward to doing just that one day. ”You like plants, right Ban? What’s your favorite?” He asked her curiously as she questioned what he was doing out here.
”The garden…” he started wistfully. ”The garden is my favorite place. My brothers and sister aren’t around to play, so I like to come here and be by myself.” He explained as his violet tail wagged at his hips.

Banshee allowed the sun to splay across her dappled back and her flicking tail with ease. The gentle breeze brought forth an appreciated coolness to the summer day. She was not as sensitive to the sun as her father or sister thankfully, Ban actually enjoyed it a tad. Though, she was still very much a night owl. Some of her best work was done at night beneath the moon. But, perhaps that was just her Klein blood seeping through. Nevertheless her simple thoughts were swept away by the sound of the young Indigo's voice. The youngster told her that he hadn't been on a patrol with Sirius yet. That was definitely something the pups would have to do with their Father first. Patrols were simple but could be rather dangerous. "One day soon he will bring you on one. Patrols are rather tedious but very important to the safety of our home." She then moved her attention towards his next words. Indigo asked what her favorite flower was and Banshee couldn't help but to smile as she pondered. "Wolfsbane. It is a rare plant with a beautiful purple flower. It is highly poisonous but has some medicinal uses. Perhaps it is the danger disguised by beauty that draws me in." Banshee raised a brow, "Do you have a favorite, Indigo?"
