There was an amicable silence as Sirius received her acceptance with an easy one of his own, giving her a smile. She continued in silence herself, not feeling the need to fill is with baseless chatter, and studied her surroundings again. It was close to sunset, she decided, but she supposed the wolf beside her would need the exercise to avoid cramping, as she herself did. Her body, while sore, wasn't any worse for wear besides the missing portion of her ear, and that was good enough for her. It wasn't the worst she'd ever endured, and furthermore, it was proof of her prowess. I suppose he helped, too, didn't he? she considered, but with a quiet laugh, decided to keep that to herself.
