It was time, she had sat around enough and it was time to take action and go find her friend. They hadn’t seen each other in ages but she felt as if it wouldn’t be that awkward. They’d meet and they’d go off to create a lovely sense of chaos together. She was starting her journey by heading towards Abaven, that was the last place she knew him to be. It was a long shot but if she could find any hint at all to where he had gone since they last met it would be worth it.
She had started off in a direction that brought her to maybe one of the most uncomfortable physical experiences of her life. She was way too hot, she loved the warmth and all but damn was this area hot. Maybe going across this way wasn’t the best idea.

Well, well, well... this was certainly an unusual place. Eyrún had decided to venture off from Hjarrandi's currently stomping grounds and see if she could find something of interest, even if it only entertained her briefly. When she saw a series of caverns, carved into the very core of the earth itself, she hardly hesitated to slip down into the darkness. Her descent - at least initially - wasn't a terribly difficult feat, and slowly her eyes began to adjusted to the dim light of the caverns.. though it became quickly apparent that there was another source of light, somewhere deeper in the caves.
Interesting.
Though her mind was on her surroundings, she was distracted by her own idle endeavor. On her way in she'd found a stick, the wood broken off cleanly at a sharp point. It made a perfect writing instrument, even if etching designs into something was a remarkably tricky thing for a wolf. Pausing, she angled her head up and directed it toward the cave's wall, angling it carefully to draw a long, straight line. The stick wasn't actually carving into the stone as much as it was just dispersing bits of wood in a faint pattern on the surface of the stone. The next portion was a bit trickier - a half-diamond coming off the right side of the line - but in this task Eyrún was frustratingly patient and methodical. Likely the symbol would fade quite quickly with time, though she wondered if it might last a bit longer, given the nature of this place.
Content with her work - well, as much as she could see, given the lack of direct light - Eyrún readjusted her stick in her mouth and continued deeper into the cave. The sulfuric scent of this place was growing stronger, the heat growing less bearable, and... someone was up ahead? Their silhouette was visible thanks to the ebbing glow that flickered up ahead, and her interest was piqued. "Praise Logi!" Eyrún called it, her form of a greeting, as a faint grin touched her lips as she drew closer to the stranger.

Theta snapped to attention as she heard the voice of a stranger calling out to her. Praise Logi? The heck did that mean, oh no she hoped this wasn’t some religious nut trying to spread their religion. She hadn’t dealt with many of those types but she knew that religion was a bunch of fake garbage. If anything she believed in the strength that one could derive from within themselves.
The fact that the other person seemed to be directly approaching her seemed even stranger. They didn’t even hesitate upon the sight of an unknown wolf. That boldness is what frightened her the most. She started to move away from the stranger. “I’m not looking for religion, go away.” She was just stating the words at this point, she wasn't angry yet, just mildly annoyed and uncomfortable.

Eyrún's gaze narrowed as she tried to get a better look at the stranger. From a distance she could tell that she was a bit taller than her, though that was hardly a rarity, something she was familiar with given the sort of wolves that Valkyrie seemed to attract. Initially she regarded her with a raised brow, briefly relaxing her grip on the stick that lay clasped between her jaws. She wouldn't let it fall quite yet though, not sure she'd be able to easily retrieve it if she dropped it somewhere haphazardly.
Her response - harsh and confrontational - made the pale woman bristle. Instinctively her hackles rose, though she willed herself to calm - at least for the moment. "But perhaps religion is looking for you?" She countered, though Eyrún didn't bother trying to stalk her deeper into the cave quite yet. As important as it was to spread her faith, pushing it on wolves who were clearly unwilling to accept the truth was a waste of her time. Dealing with those sort of wolves was best done in other ways.
"Calm yourself, girl," she said, her voice vaguely muffled from the stick clasped between her jaws. "My words are for me, not for you. Do with them what you will." There was a harshness to her feminine tones that couldn't be ignored, though she drew her attention away from Theta, eventually padding deeper into the cave. Focusing on the cave wall, grateful that it was more illuminated deeper inside the cavern, she made to draw another symbol. It was easiest done with her side facing the wall, trying to move her head in a fluid motion to draw a straight line at an angle. Finally she was able to mark another from its tip, the symbol vaguely looking like what she'd intended it to.
