After finding Elizabeth by sheer chance, it had encouraged her to spend more time wandering and exploring. She wasn't exactly sure what she was looking for, but she just hoped that maybe she would cross paths with someone else that could fit into her life in some way. Staying near the dens that she shared with her daughter and granddaughters all day and just waiting for something to happen wasn't sitting well with her. The fact that she really didn't know much about Auster did help her get enough curiosity to pull herself to her paws and set out in a random direction until she found something interesting.

The huge, ivy draped trees seemed to fit the bill this afternoon and the spotted woman slowed to lift her gaze toward the sky as she traced up one of the imposing oak trees. Her paws slowed to a stop and for a moment she just enjoyed the silence and peace that seemed to hang around this place. There seemed to be a fair number of places in Auster that were like this - seemingly untouched with an ancient air to them. Boreas had its own beauty of course, but in a different way. Boreas seemed to be more densely populated with wolves and there were typically far more signs that someone had lived there before. This didn't feel that way.

Her pale blue eyes landed on a tree that had a huge scar from a strike of lightening carved into its bark and she looked at it with her head tipped to the side for a moment. Something about it reminded her of the scar she wore across her face. It wasn't something the tree had necessarily caused for itself or asked for, it had just happened because it had been existing - much like her own. She smirked a little at her own thoughts and gave a small shake of her head before she continued on her way, slowly wandering though the over sized forest.
