What It Was

He had some time to relax now that most of the preparations were done. He was always planning new things, thinking up new ideas, and today was no different. While he figured he should be relaxing, he sort of was...while also walking the perimeter of the ship and drawing up plans in his head. He could multitask. After all, an alpha's work was never done, right? The alabaster king was somewhat content, and besides...if he didn't do it, who would? He was keen on getting some input from the pack. What they might think of the idea. What could be improved. He was always open to ideas but so far, nobody had come to him with any. The pack had been quiet since the raid but that was probably a given. He had been too after all, but now that new things were coming on the horizon and things he wanted to change within the pack, he couldn't remain idle for long. If he wanted them to work hard, he supposed he'd have to lead by example and if they still didn't do it then he knew he'd have to start making changes regardless of who was happy with the changes or not. He couldn't cater to everyone now, could he?

As he made his way to the front of the ship, he stopped to look up at its towering height. While he knew it was at somewhat of an angle, it was still impressive to look at. The ice and snow had done a number on the structure, what with the rust that it had on the outside and given some of the damage it had...it still seemed sturdy as ever. He wondered if there was a way he could improve the structure. Perhaps even improve it in a way they could use it as a defense against others seeking an attack. It wasn't a bad idea to think about...
