Where had that heathen gone? Wandering as usual. Not pulling his weight as part of the family. Despicable. She was getting too old for this. Nose rose slightly to track her giant monster of a son, only little was she aware that there wasn't something quite right with his head. Only mostly she thought of Kaine, and sometimes it killed her to see him in their child. Not for the evil she noticed in him but for the love she abandoned was too hard for her to look back on. Her paw slammed down into the shallow water she came across, he must have gone through the river and she lost his scent. Either way she knew he would come back by tonight as he always did. He didn't have anyone else and she would let him know that. She looked down in the rippling water as the multitude of fish scattered from her splashes. A thought to pick one out for dinner came across her mind but she was too irritated to even concentrate on the feisty fish. Her head spun with her emotions, her eyes closed as she tried to calm down and think about what to do the rest of the day while her son was out doing god knows what. |
