Laoise had seen the aftermath of Arydn's adventures with the bee's, but the girl was far more interested in the honey. It just smelled so tasty. Laoise wasn't one to pass a bite to eat. The girl had set off early that morning, making her way on the path Arydn had left on his wild run towards home, away from the stings of the bees. On the path lay the scent of honey, as well as many fallen bee soldiers. Laoise buried all of the ones she spotted because if they could defeat Arydn, they must be awfully powerful warriors. Each time she spotted one, she carefully scratched out a little hole and pushed the bee inside the hole, before covering it with dirt. Eventually, she heard a faint buzzing noise, as well as the scent of honey growing stronger.

Laoise knew she had to be smart, that she had to use her brain. She faltered for a moment. Maybe she wasn't smart enough for this? Maybe she'd make a fool of herself. She shook her head free of the doubts, her brow furrowing in fortitude. The girl plopped onto her belly, her poor attempt to crouch quickly resulting in her banging her jaw on the forest floor. She yipped in discomfort, moving a paw to rub at the sore spot before she began crawling. The girl slowly crawled closer to the scent of honey, her ears facing forward. Eventually, she was positioned behind a log, the hive resting in a log only a few feet away from her.

Peering over the log, Laoise notices the bees are very few. It seems they've abandoned ship. However, Laoise missed the part where most of them were inside, trying to salvage honey or rebuild. The girl took a deep breath, slowly pulling herself so her paws were on the log. She didn't make any sudden moves, and a bee dared to land on her nose. It tickled. She sneezed, loudly.

The bees buzzed ferociously, as this woLf was far too close to their home. Laoise, upon hearing the buzz, launched herself from her hiding spot with a warriors cry. It was more of a puppy-scream of anger, but she tried her best. Having landed on top of her log, she kicked off and dove straight for the beehive. Laoise started jumping and stomping around, screaming with glee-terror? She didn't know. Eventually, she felt the squish of honey beneath her paws, and so she smushed her face deep into the hive, teeth clamping around a large chunk of the hive that oozed with honey. She yelped as she finally realized the stinging pain of the bees. She scrambled from the den of bees, flopping over the log and onto her face. She was quick to right herself, turning on hyper-speed and high tailing it home.

Laoise was still yelping out her war cry, tears streaming from her wide eyes. If it was from pain or joy, she had no clue. She was not expecting the stings to be so many, and so painful! There were bees in her mouth, locked between her jaws, but she was never going to give up her conquest. The honey soothed the few stings she had along her jaw, and so Laoise tried to pretend there were no bugs in her mouth, only honey. The buzzing had faded from chasing her, but Laoise had no plan to stop running.

Her short, red tail was tucked between her legs as tight as she could manage, and her ears were pinned flat against her skull. She whipped her head around, looking for a familiar place to hide, but found none. The girl continued to run at full speed towards the main pack area, the familiar sights of friends and fellow Valhalla wolves slowly coming into view. Laoise, somehow, sped up her pace, flying into camp as if the devil was on her heels.

She paused for a moment, head whipping around as she reoriented herself. Spotting the path to their family den, the girl took off at full speed again, darting between the legs of friends and family alike. Nothing would stop her now, she was in the home stretch. Her pace was frantic and she was determined to make it all the way home into the safe hold of her parents. Her pace slowed as she reached the soft grass just outside their den, her mouth releasing the trapped bees and honey. The girl let out a sigh of relief, her ears drooping as she paused to take a few deep breaths. She flopped down onto her haunches, her front legs spreading to brace her weight.

"Good golly that was fun!" she exclaimed suddenly, all the joy and energy returning to her. She leapt from her seated position, biting off a piece of the honeycomb, careful to avoid the one or two bees she managed to kill.
