The stallion made his way through the thick grasses with relative ease as he resisted the urge to stop and graze. Food could wait until later when he met back up with Acacia. Perhaps they would return here when the day was through, the grazing was starting to get bitter where they’d camped and the time to move on was nigh. He was feeling restless again though he knew that his little mare was getting tired. She needed somewhere more permanent to call her home and Canyon was determined to provide that for her.
The grasses slowly turned to forests as the white marked stallion made his way into the thick woods. dark ears swiveled and he moved carefully, feeling himself grow more nervous with the close quarters. If the wolves from the pack nearby were out for a hunt escaping them within the tress would be difficult.
He continued onward, finding himself pleasantly surprised when bright blue eyes fell on the springs. Already the horse could smell the poison in the water, but he could also see the steam rising into the cool morning air. Curiously he strode forward, eager to explore the place but even more to show Acacia this lovely find.
