Now where had Ruin put it? It was around here somewhere, her little cache of goodies she'd hidden away from prying eyes and noses. She didn't have anything particularly valuable or even edible, it was just a collection of things that had caught her eye, like sharp stones and smelly leaves. The little pup knew it was around here somewhere, that she'd dug out a little hole near a tree that faced a distant hill, but which one? She couldn't remember and she was starting to feel a little irritated as she idly wandered through the trees, all bunched together, with a hundred or more places to hide and sneak.

With her nose to the floor, Ruin sniffed and snuffed till she noticed that the dirt just in front of her paws had recently been disturbed. Was this it? She hadn't visited her cache recently so...surely it meant that someone had dug it up, rummaged through it? She scowled as she pawed the dirt out of the way, they better not have taken that sharp tooth she had found, it was hers!

Patrolling was second nature now. In fact, she usually made such quick work of it that today she was determined to slow down and take her time. Theory had counted the steps so far to get here from bay and was still tracking them. It was no wonder that, while stuck deeply in thought, she stumbled over a squirrel. Luckily the young alpha was light on her feet and did a strange, three-legged hop over the tiny thing. Theo almost huffed in annoyance before she caught herself - it wasn't a squirrel at all! It was her sister. Thankfully not the smallest one, or she might've flattened her completely. Theory grinned and sat down in front of Ruin. "Hey there! Sorry, Roo - I was just lost in thought. Were you looking for something?" Theo peered at the hole she'd begun to dig.

Ruin dug and dug till her little paws started to hurt. The ground wasn't overly hard or rocky but she simply wasn't made for manual labour, tempted to go and get one of her brothers do it for her she turned and- let out a surprised eep at the looming shadow. Her ears flicked back in alarm as she was almost stepped on, squished like a bug, but the big had far more elegance and grace then Ruin currently did and simply hopped over her. Just like that. She sniffed, her little nose wrinkling as the familiar, homey scent rushed to the back of her throat. And then the big spoke and Ruin blinked, all confusion melting away as warm familiarity filled her chest.Well duh! It was her sister, who else could it have been?

"Fee!" Ruin cheered, whipping around to paw at her big sister with her dirty little feet, making a right mess of the Alpha's legs and lower chest  in the process. Which...may or may not have been done on purpose. Who knew? "Treasure!" She oh so loudly announced, yelling so loud she scared the birds from the trees.

Theory winced as Ruin yelled but once the last few birds had fled the nearby trees, she couldn't help but chuckle. "Treasure, huh? Anything particularly rare and special?" she asked, letting her tiny sister scrabble all over her front. Roo was little, but she was fiercely loud and herself. Theo was glad that she was striking out on her own well enough. It had to be difficult with the twin boys looming over the rest of the litter, both in size and personality. "Did you bury the treasure or did someone else?" she added, peering at Ruin on her same level. Did she make off with someone else's loot? When you were tiny, you had to be resourceful. Ruin could probably learn all about that from her mother - Samara was a shrewd woman. Small could often mean mighty! After all, she'd captured Rhyme's heart with ease. Ruin would be just fine.

Ruin nodded, all sage and wise, as though this was very important indeed. Her big sister was right, for as small as she was Ruin more than made up for that in her larger than life personality. She stood up on her hind legs, leaning against her big sis as she considered her next words. Whether it would be more fun to rope her in as an accomplice or a victim. Ruin quickly chose the former, given that she was in good mood today and she'd always had a soft spot for her long legged sis.

"Me! I did." She proclaimed, chest puffed up with a big and boastful sense of bravado. "I got a tooth rock! But..." She turned to paw at the earth, showing that it had been dug up recently. And then she let out a horrified gasp. THIEF THIEF!! Her collection was gone.

Her eyes were wide and shiny with tears as her lips began to wobble. She faced her sister slowly, mournfully, as a wail bubbled over her lips. It wasn't an act, for a pup so young and small this was surely the end of the world. It was all crashing down around her, what was she to do?

"FEEE IT'S GONE UH UH!"She hiccuped, her words barely eligible.
