Location: Redbud Nook

Aranea wandered outside of the pack usually quite often but she tried not to make too much of a habit of it. It was hard for her to adjust back into pack life and now with Torin overlooking her she felt the desire to please though not a good desire. She let everyone close to her down time and time again and she was coming at a whits end with herself. She had to admit being around the wolves of her pack boosted her spirits but she felt overwhelmed with socialism and mostly kept to herself.

She came out in search of herbs to stock back at the pack, not anything particular but she still kept interest in making a mental note where she could find more rare herbs. She wandered into the nook without really realizing it, her nose sniffing for unusual or familiar scents. But she was more lost in thought and her concentration was nearly non-existent. More like it was routine for her nose to just find its way to what she wanted.

Her mind clicked as she made it back to reality and she would take a moment to look up at the cherry blossom trees. She had been here before but it had been sometime. The scent of Abaven in a far distance, she shook her head relieving herself of the sour memories. She would try to make haste in her ways back home but for now she would simply take a seat and look up at the blossomed petals.

Hanako spent a lot of time by the sea but there was no denying she'd grown awfully fond of Redbud Nook. Spring had come and gone, along with the vibrant pink of the cherry blossoms but there was still colour to be found if she looked hard enough. The grass was soft beneath her paws, having grown long and lush, whilst the meadow itself was dappled with flowers and bushes she couldn't put a name to. She noticed the scent of a stranger long before she saw the silhouette ahead, their back turned as they sat and watched the branches swaying in the gentle breeze. Knowing that very few people liked being snuck up on Hanako cleared her throat as she approached. The stranger in question was considerably smaller than her with pale a coat broken up by sections of russet and silver. Unremarkable, but pretty in that girl next door sort of way. But kinda old, no offence.

"I don't mean to intrude but..." Hanako said in greeting as she slowed to a walk."It's just so pretty here, I couldn't help myself."

Her mind lost in the sight of the redbuds and her own thoughts, when the voice of another came through her ears she couldn't help but jump slightly. Though she went more at ease as she took a quick look at the stranger and felt a little more comfortable seeing they were female even though she as still much smaller than them. She'd look up again to the branches but not for more than a few seconds before her gaze fell level with her body and she turned to face the girl. "Yeah, it is much more florescent in the spring though." She skimmed around the trunks of the trees as if she was searching for something, "I was just here to see what herbs I could find."

Her nose twitched as she took in the scent of the girl, though she tried to not make it obvious she was slightly snooping where she was from. A nearby pack, though Aranea wasn't familiar with most of the packs these days. "Are you from around here?" She'd ask though it was a silly question from her point of view. She was much older than the multi-colored girl and had traveled a lot of the lands both here and Auster. Not that this young lady knew any of that but it just felt a little amusing that Aranea.

Ahh now that made sense. Following the stranger's line of sight, Hanako looked at the Nook once more, marvelling at the beauty that surrounded them. It was so peaceful and quiet here, full of all sorts of plants and flowers that no doubt could be used for healing or harming. As to what did what...Hanako didn't know and didn't really care to. The Armada already had plenty of skilled healers, there was no reason for her to learn, or so she thought. At the stranger's question Hanako nodded her head with a smile, maintaining her amiable front.

"Yup. Live in the Armada, not so far from here. I'm Hanako." She wagged her tail with pleased fervour, besides from Mortis she was no doubt the friendliest wolf that filled the Armada's ranks. And it was a space she fit well, as snug as a bug in a rug. "How about you? I'm not sensing any...local vibes from you." It was an around about way of asking but Hanako found this method worked better than being overly on the nose. Some folks took offence to prying questions so it was often best to dress them up a little, to soften the blow.
