She was growing weaker by the day. She knew her time was coming. She could feel it deep in her bones. She was hardly able to eat, let alone walk much further than outside of her den most days. She felt so bad. Both about her health and that she couldn't run around and play with her children. She loved them so, so much though...and she just hoped that they knew that too, despite her not being able to do much with them throughout their puphood. The elder she-wolf managed to make it to the entrance of her den where she shakily half-fell to the ground as the aching and tiredness took over almost immediately. Her grizzled, aging fur a dead giveaway of her age and the shaking of her legs made her weakness obvious. She wanted to rest for a minute, but...she also didn't want to spend the rest of her time sleeping until death took her. She was too weak to call for any of her kids, so she hoped at some point, they'd come by like they usually did to check on her..
