As she explored the lands, she grew bored and was quick to realise she had not trained nor practised her combat skills. Withought a pack or family to help defend her, Adelphie quickly decided it was time to meet those of mutual minds looking to better themselves. She was in her prime, healthy, fast, witty. There was no way she could become lazy. She made her way to the battlefield, alert and ready to find anyone who was similar to her. Regardless of whether she won or loss, she knew she needed to see where about she was and how best to improve. it was easy to get out of shape and practise, especially withought the help of her brother. the purple lady would call out to any of those interested in a challenge. She would stand in the middle of the terrain eager and ready to see who would join her, this would be a prime opportunity to also meet some other wolves. Minutes past, tho with nothing to do, she had nothing but time to wait.

It hadn't been long since her father had appointed her the new alphess of Winterfell. She kept telling herself it was just a test. And while yes, he had said it was as well, she couldn't help but feel like she had this new image she had to portray of herself. She didn't quite know how to hold herself the way her father did, so it was hard to tell what her position in the pack was. At least, that's what she told herself, anyway. Her first task that she wanted to do was to test herself on the battlefield, the young she-wolf knowing full well she still had much to learn when it came to fighting. She was far from the seasoned warrior that her father was, and she wanted to be as skilled in battle as he was.

With her osprey circling the air and the macaque on her back, Winter made her way further onto the battlefield until her bird alerted her to the presence of another shortly before she heard the other wolf calling. She altered her course until she spotted the amethyst pelted wolf, her eyes widening slightly in surprise. She had never seen a purple wolf before...blue, yes. Kirsi was a pretty glacial blue. But flat out purple? Never in her life. "I'll be your opponent if you don't mind." She stated, raising her head as high as she could as a small but nervous grin split her lips. "Name's Winter,"

Adelphie had waited a while for someone to come, she had very little to do today and was willing to wait a little while, plus... it had been a while since she had last had a spar. While Del was patient, it would seem no one would come. Just as she made her decision and was ready to leave, she saw someone coming in the distance. A smile would paint on her lips, perfect! The woman was still not familiar with these lands and still was looking for somewhere worthy of calling home. Little did she know there was an Alpha before her. The lady before her would accept the challenge and Del would nod in acceptance. " My name is Adelphie, feel free to call me Del" She would reply, before setting up her defences. Her ears would pin back, hackles raised, eyes slit, weight evenly distributed, muscles tenses, knees slightly bent, tail aligned with spine for assisted balance, her cranium would dip to protect her neck and her teeth bared.

Wasting no more time, Del would attempt to eat away at the distance between them, her left shoulder aiming to hit against the middle of winters chest in the hopes of knocking her off balance and to cause bruising to the area. Both wolves were very similar in shape and size so neither was highly disadvanted. Del would then attempt to twist her head to the left, aiming to sink her teeth into the lady's scruff, aiming to clasp upon the start of the scruff where it is thinner and more sensetive in an attempt to cause minor pain and bleeding, an attempt to seek control.

The curious amethyst babe called herself Adelphie, though was given the offer to call her Del. Winter nodded to the she-wolf in greeting as she watched her settle into her defenses to which Winter promptly followed suit. She was taller than the purple woman, but she couldn't be sure on who was more experienced. As Del rushed towards her, Winter remained where she was though she angled her left shoulder forward in an attempt to let Del slam into it when she charged. Del's own shoulder would smash into Winter's chest, causing the youth to grunt on impact and it was likely a bruise would form there. As Del sought to reach for her scruff, however, Winter had a moment of panic as she flinched, her own jaws reactively opening as she sought to catch Del's jaws in her own in an effort to twist the girl away from her as she also tried to shove her away. Although this was merely a simple spar, it was likely that her experience in her first raid was giving her flashbacks to how much she had failed in that...reminding her, especially how she was not prepared for the way the opposition had come at her so viciously... Her shoulder had successfully impacted upon winters chest and when doing so, she felt the woman counter and slam her left shoulder into Del's chest also, which would definetly cause bruising later on. While the purple lady had aimed to grab on Winter's scruff, she had not been successful, Winter had suddenly moved and her jaws came forward, their jaws colliding together as Winter shoved her weight forward, in the hopes of getting Del away from her. Surprised by this, Adelphie would quick redistribute her  weight in order to try and take control back of herself quickly and rather than going again for the  scruff or the womans face, Adelphie would attempt to launch forward and grab hold of Winter's left forelimb just above the paw in the hopes of restricting her movements and also spraining her ankle, Del did not want to aim to injure the woman severely but merely needed the practice after all these months of being alone. Del aimed to shove her all her weight into Winter in the hope to knock her off balance when she sought the womans limb.

Her unorganized attack had worked to a degree. She could feel the bruise already, though, in hindsight, it was expected considering she was still green when it came to fighting anyone. Del had managed to organize herself better during their fight, and when she dove for Winter's forelimb, Winter had been too slow to react. Teeth closed around her forelimb, causing her leg to buckle and the larger alphess tried to keep her paw from twisting as she began to lose her balance. In a last ditch effort to keep herself from completely losing her balance though, she tried to twist her captured paw in a way that would have potentially kept her on her feet, only the moment she tried to move her paw, she felt a twinge of pain and it was likely that it had been sprained when she tried to do that. Trying to keep from panicking again, she allowed her weight to fall somewhat forward towards Del, her eyes closing tight as she decided to aim a heavy headbutt at the woman using her momentum of falling and her horns to try and knock the woman away and force her to release her grip.
