Taking a break

Outlaw had no great skills to offer up yet but he was very talented when it came to following directions and happy to offer assistance with any task. So it was as the sun was starting to sink in the sky he was ready to take a break. The dog resembles mostly a blue german shepherd but is most certainly a mutt. Outlaw's cowboy hat sits on top of his head causing his ears to be folded down a bit.

Outlaw found himself a spot under a batch of trees to lay down and get some rest in. Despite being tired the moment Outlaw's mind gets a chance to wander it moves into curiosity, especially when he was still new to the pack and land. So at first, he was lying down with head on a paw, then his neck stretched out to sniff at a branch a spotty long-legged bug was on but when the bug flew off Outlaw had to raise his head up high enough to brace an elbow under his body. He hadn't seen a bug like that before, glancing around he searched to see if more of that type of bug was around. None in sight.

Outlaw started to lie his head back down, but his eyes were roaming the trees and ground. It was only another minute before Outlaw's tail was wagging as he searched the area, pausing at any new scent or a new bug. The young dog had found several bugs here that hadn't been on his island, and anything new was exciting to the dog.
