Eraithus is Beginner Intellectual and Advanced Fighter
Lets begin!
You emerge from an unfamiliar part of the forest into a clearing, blinking slowly as your eyes adjust to the sudden deepening of the gloom that surrounded you your whole walk. As the dim light slowly becomes more and more comfortable you start making out a hulking shape on the other side of the clearing. Old and creaking woodenly in a wind you can't feel you lay eyes on a dilapidated mansion. The whole building skews to one side, and even in the gloom you can make out that parts of it appear to jut out unnaturally as if grafted onto its massive shape after the fact. Something about it seems wrong, though you are not sure why.
- Approach the mansion
- Flee with your tail between your legs [Leave]
The strange building in front of him gave him the creeps. Eraithus was blinking at it warily as he looked around the woods. The night air lifted mists moving to and fro the only thing that was well within his sights was the creepy mansion. The blue male narrowed his eyes - he didn't know how he got here or maybe it was even a dream. Either way he was never one to back down from a challenge. Eraithus had never been afraid of the macarbe or the dangerous. He knew he was one himself on the inside as nice as he could be. Besides, what other way was there to go?
Eraithus took a few shaky steps forward. He lowered his head and attempted to use his nose to smell anything out. There was nothing but the rotting wood filling his nose with each paw step he took forward. Soon enough he was near the door. The windows looked black, unable to see inside of them Eraithus inspected the front doors. Trying to see if they were open or closed.
Approach the Mansion
- Approach the door
- 2 Spoopy 5 me [Leave]
Eraithus Left front paw is sprained
His trip inside was not an exciting one, Eraithus' trip left his left paw sore. Still he moved on and trekked further into the mansion. It was an interesting place - fear did not grip him even with his limp as he carefully made sure to put his weight on his other three paws. Eraithus didn't think it was too hard - he'd broken a bone before and had healed through it. The male sniffed, making the mistake of injecting dust into his nose only to sneeze it out again. After his failed attempted of door to door through the mansion he finally came to something worth noting.
It seemed that there was noise coming from a door. His ears perked trying to listen in as his dust covered paw pads creaked against the floor boards. It could be an enemy, a ghost, or a piece of prey. Eraithus' hackles raised his teeth moving into a snarl. He wouldn't be caught off guard. Specially with his already sprained ankle. If he was careful though the pain wouldn't be too bad. Carefully he approached the door. His hackles raised and his ears forward alert for any sort of danger now. Eraithus also tried to be careful about where he stepped on the old floors.
Approach the Door
- Fix them!
- Take a Puppet down from the roof
- Nope out of there! [Leave]
Eraithus Left front paw is sprained
This room gave him a strange feeling in the pit of his stomach. Like something was terribly wrong. Though his eyes did not seem to decieve him in the dimly lit room full of mismatched creatures. Somehow they were a bit beautiful like there was purpose to them. Something or someone had to have put them here. Eraithus didn't know what state of mind this creature had been in but he certainly hoped that they hadn't been in any pain. It was when he approached the scattered pieces with his limp that something curious happened. A small voice echoed in his ear... Fix me almost like an itch. He lifted a back leg to scratch at the inside of his ear for a moment.
Did he listen to the voice or did he not? He didn't want to intrude on someone else's work. If he tore one down Eraithus was afraid he would anger a spirit that haunted this place or otherwise. His eyes turned to the voice again even though it really wasn't coming from anywhere. He hadn't really tinkered with anything before but he didn't try he couldn't say that he was helpful. Even with the pain in his paw he made an attempt to fix what was there like it demanded to be done. Eraithus didn't want to anger it, so he would do as the voice said.
Fix them
- Find them! In the Corpse
- Find them! By searching the room again.
- The door is right there! [Leave]
Eraithus Left front paw is sprained
Even if he wasn't disturbed by the macarbe usually, the strange sight in front of him put him in awe. Eraithus stared for an ungodly amount of time listening to the voice in his head. His quick glance to an escape was not really thought off as his curiosity did also get the better of him. It was disturbing, but also interesting. The old femur he'd found in the previous room sort of gave him an idea. Eraithus didn't want to look around the room after all the voice seemed to be coming from inside this body. Whatever it was. He clamped his jaws on the femur bone and began to peck around the flesh.
Eraithus carefully pulled apart flesh and bone with his stick that was a femur. There was no smell unlike he expected as his eyes fixated trying to listen to the voice he wanted to please. His ears perked forward as he moved away flesh across the corpse. So far he couldn't see anything that was worth noting, but perhaps it was a test of listening. Either way he had to stick by his decision.
Find them, in the corpse
- Save them!
- Save them by using your femur as a weapon!
- Locked
- Locked
- Alright that’s enough adventure for one day! [Leave]
Eraithus Left front paw is sprained
Despite the darkness and the shock of the previous disgusting events of the corpse he wanted to press on. The shivering feeling in his bones he felt when whatever it was rushed past him made his teeth go baring. The pain in his paw was ebbed even if it still hurt. If he used the femur it really wouldn't be a good weapon, not unless he could find a way to splinter it off. Eraithus thought it a better decision to rely on his teeth. Pulling back his ears and raising his hackles he growled intensly. If someone needed his help then he was going to try his best to save them.
"Come out then!" he barked spreading his limbs evenly. He couldn't see a thing but he could smell. Even if the air was filled with the mustyness of the mansion. Eraithus was letting his ears flick trying to listen and feel for his surroundings. His tail made even with his body and the blue eyed wolf was more than ready to defend the voice or creature that had asked for his help.
Save Them!
- Release them!
- I am a coward, and proud of it! [Leave]
Eraithus Left front paw is sprained - Eraithus now has a bend in his tail
The pain shooting through him made it hard to concentrate. First it had been his paw and now his tail, as he stared at the skeleton he looked at his tail. That was going to take weeks to heal he wouldn't be in fighting shape for some time. The pain blossoming into his rump - it looked like it was a permanent look too but it wouldn't cause him much issues once it healed. Eraithus growled to himself the voice in his head mocking him. He was no coward but a part of him debated leaving it here. It would save him more trouble, however something about his dignity was at stake.
"Fine, but you cannot call me a coward." whatever ghost haunted this place he would reap the rewards that it had. He quickly opened the cage. Whatever he was about to release hopefully it would not affect others. Yet would it be at peace? Perhaps this was all that it wanted. Eraithus waited to see, standing tall despite the pain that radiated throughout him.
Release!
