Now this this was a place he'd been before, okay not literally but it wouldn't be the first time he'd been at a desert and found an oasis within it. He had no qualms about immediately jumping into the water to cool his paws off. Now he was contentedly splashing around in the shallows, he had an almost pup like glee as he played in the water. God, he hoped that none of his siblings were nearby, he'd never hear the end of being the family baby if they were.

He paused, mismatched gaze scanning for other forms of life. He wasn't desperate for company but it would be a lie to say she wasn't a highly sociable wolf and found things much more enjoyable with a friend.
