Kotori had been sure to thank his cat, which he had finally named the very original name of Snow and Fang for helping with the coyote.  He then spent an entire day practicing with them before the pup decided they were ready!  Once he was sure they were masterful fighters it was time to find something else to go killing vermin like coyotes again!

Running about the pack land he finally spotted Mort.  Picking up speed the pup rammed his head into Mort’s leg by way of greeting.  “Mort, Mort.  Want to play?  Snow and I some great new fighting moves we spent all of yesterday practicing!” All-day of course excluded when he got distracted by anything else.

“So, we could fight or we could go kill some vermin or something else super fun?” Of course, Mort wanted to play with him, right?  The wings were right there so, ya know, after his ideas the pup couldn’t resist biting and tugging at one of the strong feathers.  Mort’s wings weren’t good for flying but they were good for puppy chew toys.
