Follow Me Through the Storm

Snow fell in droves around her as she trotted to the plains meeting boulder. The weather was a bit crazy at the moment, but she personally enjoyed it, and her pace was brisk, new armor comfortably hugging her frame, and the cloak fluttering in the wind and her movement.

It was kind of nice to have her light dampened, though her head, legs and tail were all still as bright as ever. She’d have to find a way to cover the light, both her and Ardyn. Stealth flew out the window with fur like theirs. Perhaps they could collect charcoal and grind it down. A nice pile to roll in for both of them. She’d probably be unrecognizable after such a treatment.

She grinned to herself, leaping to the top of the boulder and stretching, letting herself slowly settle onto the stone, eyes closing. For several minutes, she just listened to the bluster of the wind, the subtle hiss and hush of falling snow that somehow felt like silence, yet not.

Slowly, she settled into meditation, laying like a glowing, armor clad statue. There were many paths to consider, and one was coming much sooner.
