Arriving Auster should have been excited before the eyes of a normal wolf, someone who had normal feelings like anyone else, feeling joy for what should inspirate joy, sadness with what should inspirate sadness, anger with what should inspirate such feeling on the individual. But none of that was Dunkan's situation, Dunkan's ways. He couldn't feel those even if he tried, he wasnt able to leave that coldness, that drieness in his heart, a heart solidified by the hardship, by the harsh childhood he had. He couldn't return to the old self if one ever existed. He couldn't go back to the curious and optimistic pup he used to be. And a long ago he stopped trying to change, he stopped trying to smile, to cry, to feel the feelings right on the place they should be given. On his heart.
Now all that was on his mind, on his thoughts was the idea, the obligation of working hard, of exceeding his limits each time he did his tasks, every time he did his responsibilities. Working was his only interest, having a purpose, being useful was all he wanted, and that pushed the other things out. He didnt allow himself the time to know others, to create bonds, enjoy life or perhaps explore himself even more.
But as far as he knew, he didnt care. He didnt care to sacrifice his integrity for the Hallow's benefits. He was fine exceeding himself along as that could help assure stability and safety for those who saw the Castle their home, including Resin, Tamsyn, and even those he didnt like that much like Askan or those who didnt contribute to the pack.
But today after soo much pushing from both of his companions he accepted to have a free day, a day to rest. "Just today okay?" He was telling Urasa and loud enough for Kaira to listen as well who flew above their heads.
There hasn't been a big plan nor relevant events they wanted to do but Dunkan sought to perhaps just have a bath on these falls, falls new to himself but Kaira notified him there were here. The three would just enjoy their time here, nothing beyond that. All arrived and at first glance, he saw some stalactites and a pool of crystal waters. Slowly he walked toward the water and sat just in the border of it, water reaching just above his paws. Urasa as the Jaguar he was, he jumped into the water and swam on his own accords. Kaira just landed on a rock and just observed.
