Spaaar?

She wanted to test her skills, though she knew she was starting to get rusty after not having kept up her proper training schedule for the last couple of seasons. She had gotten wrapped up in the grief of her mother's passing that she hadn't wanted to do much. But she was realizing again that these things happened. She had lost many comrades when she lived with the Spartans...her mother at least, passed peacefully. That thought alone started to give her some form of comfort, so she managed to pull herself out of it and onto the battlefield. Hell, she was aware that someday, she would die too. She was only getting older, though she hoped to one day die in battle instead of her bed. She walked quietly across the battlefield with her head held high, looking for a potential opponent to spar with. Hell, maybe if she was lucky, she'd come across a pack wolf. She was in the market, after all.

Apollinaris Galanis Molon Labe The road was arduous, but he would be lying if he said he disliked his travels thus far. It was almost refreshing to become such an explorer; the earth felt different under his paws when he was simply walking to a new destination instead of to battle. His clan was scattered, but they would be arriving here in this new land soon. The man grinned inwardly at the thought, eager to reunite with his family. A familiar scent put his daydreaming thoughts away, and he quickly switched course to follow the path of one much more seasoned than he. Ears came forward as his pace increased, nearly trotting to catch up with his old mentor. We he came upon her, he immediately slowed so that his hurried steps didn't draw attention. Apollinaris had a flare for the dramatic, so he intended to call out to her to grab her attention. First, though, he glanced around to take in his surroundings. The scent of old blood lingered in the air, and the hair along his hackles bristled. A battlefield, he thought, nearly salivating as his muscled twitched. Ice gaze focused back to the woman in the distance, and he stood tall. "Spartan!" His voice rang true and loud as he stood, his chest puffed and his back straight. His warrior's paint was now all but gone, faded from sun, wind, and rain. Flecks could still be seen through his blue coat, but only if you looked closely. When the woman's attention was garnered, he flashed a broad grin, his tail lashing behind him once. She would know what he wanted - the best way to great your mentor was, of course, to spar. |

Crystal blue gaze scanned the field, waiting for someone to come. As her head was turned, she heard a familiar voice. "Spartan!" Her lip curled up in a grin, attention turning to her former pupil. Then again, as long as she was still kicking, her students would always be her students. Constantly learning from her and the world. He looked fit and ready as ever, the younger male standing tall and proud. "Apollinaris, I see you've found me at last." And by the looks of it, he made the journey safely. She turned her body to face him, the albino woman standing just as tall as him. "I hope the journey wasn't too hard. Do you have any energy left for a spar?" She teased lightly, eyes lighting up with the potential of a lighthearted spar with him.
