Life's just a game

There was something... relaxing about the silence that filled these hills. Borias couldn't help it his paws pressing into the soft sand of a hill that he stood upon. Various tree's had been pulled from their roots, tipped over and beneath were entrances of many caves. This place would have been perfect was a pack territory - he thought in the back of his head. Then again it seemed like it was regularly changed and shaped from shaking of the earth beneath his paws. Luckily today, there was silence.

"With winter gripping the land I wonder if it was best I return to Auster somewhere." Borias thought out loud. Scrunching lower to the ground he slid to the entrance of one of the massive caverns. It was at least four times his size - ears twitching he sniffed the outside curiously. He didn't scent any nearby wolves, at least he didn't think so. Hopefully his scent glands weren't going bad, he laughed at the thought before raising his head and looking onward.

Life was boring. Lately, nothing interesting had happened. He and Isidora had been traveling endlessly and, honestly, he was getting fed up with the small woman's presence. Not that he hated her or anything, but being around only one person day after day after day would grate on anyone's nerves. He needed a break from the woman and so, when she wasn't working, the giant man managed to slink away. No doubt she would find him. She always did. For now though, he would have a little bit of manly time. Oxx needed a new game. Something to keep his attention and pass the time. He'd been hunting more than was necessary, but it just wasn't cutting it. He needed something with more kick. Something with more fight. Something live and talkative and...  Oh... lookie here! An earthen colored man stood upon one of the windy dunes. He was significantly smaller than Oxx. The white and slate man sidled up beside the brute, his big mouth curling upwards in a grin to flash his sharp, shark like teeth. "Lovely day, don't you agree?" The man's smooth baritone voice killed the silence. If he was lucky, maybe that wasn't the only thing he'd kill today. "Speech"

Borias was no stranger to massive wolves, Sirius had been that massive with tusks to match. So really there was no reason for him to be alarmed when the man approached a face full of rather interesting sharp teeth. Borias blinked in surprised - well they at least looked impressive. "A little cold if you ask me but I suppose so." he shrugged, for some reason a bad feeling twisted in his stomach now. The closeness of the stranger set him on edge or perhaps Oxx's own demenor did so.

"The names Borias. What brings you to the barren hills?" there really wasn't much here. So he didn't see the point in travelling, but something about the solice of the hills meant something. The stillness had been broken by the two males. With the sun setting now and the dark falling over them Borias eyes blinked in the dark, facing Oxx head on with bright eyes.
