Caught me sleeping

((Note: Liquid timing to just a little before Plague showed up. No one aggressive or who would otherwise seek to fight/claim/abuse Gloom please but rude characters are welcome to make her cry))
Despite the way, the last time she'd wandered away from her brothers had worked out, Gloom couldn't seem to quell a natural wanderlust she'd been struck with, but the nearby prairie seemed a safer location for her to wander while she was away from her siblings, she'd be able to see anyone approaching from most directions and it would be easy enough for her to slip away back to the safety of the nearby grove and her brothers' protection. That was the plan at least, but as the young woman sunned herself in the short grass, her stomach pushed up towards the almost spring sun, though she was notably laying in a divet in the snow that hadn't been banished all season, she found herself being lulled into a feeling of safety... and growing more and more tired. Slowly she drifted off into a snooze, her forepaws tucked to her chest and softly snoring. Speak! Think! |

SHIBA KLEIN
Shiba had been making it a point to go out each day to look for some sort of sign that the cold would soon end. Thus far, she had been disappointed each time, and there was nothing she could see to indicate that things would be returning to normal anytime soon. Perhaps there were others who were better equipped to make such determinations, but she had yet to find anyone that could tell her more than what she had already noticed herself. Dread tugged at her each morning that she awoke to bitter cold and barren trees. This was supposed to be a time of new life and warmth, replenishing herbs. She feared it would never end, but it didn’t seem possible. Surely they would see a true spring eventually. She was too deep in thought as she walked to notice at first the sleeping figure tucked into the snow. A tiny form she nearly tripped over, the soft snoring catching her attention just in time for her to look down and see the black and cream woman. She sucked in a deep breath and stumbled back, shaking her head once she had somewhat regained her balance. It wasn’t that she was afraid of the tiny girl, but it caught her by surprise that she’d gotten so close without realizing. Clearly she had been too deep in thought to have not noticed something so obvious. She moved forward again, aiming to gently poke at the girls flank. "You’ve picked a poor place to nap." She grumbled, a frown pulling at the corners of her mouth.
"Speech."
