Outlaw trotted to Emile’s room, tail up and flagging happily behind him.  Outlaw had meant to seek the boy out sooner but the dog somehow managed to keep busy.  It wasn’t so much he planned to fill a day with work ahead of time but somehow there was always something he found to do.  Whether it was just helping out someone who needed a friend, training to be a healer, or just some odd job for the pack somehow things just came up!

Today was Emile day.  Outlaw had realized he didn’t see the boy out much and pups should always be out running around.  There was some bad stuff happening in the pack, with the worst of it being Resin and those who loved her but that couldn’t stop life.  Outlaw hadn’t dealt much with death and wasn’t sure how to feel about Resin’s death.  He hadn’t known Resin well but still respected her and counted her as a friend.  When he thought about her and the sickness it was all too confusing, it was also something he couldn’t change personally.  Outlaw would do instead what he could do, which was help out a puppy in need.

Outlaw stopped at Emile’s home, “Hey, Emile?” the dog called at the entrance, “Are you busy?  Haven’t seen much of you lately?” The dog sat down after that, ears trying to prick up higher which nudged his hat forward some.  The hat got pushed back with one paw without any signs of noticing it.

Unless noted you can assume Outlaw is wearing his hat.
It's also likely there is a seagull somewhere nearby
