He'd tracked them here, though truthfully, they weren't hard to track. The beasts were massive, far bigger than any animal he'd seen before. But they were slow and seemingly clumsy. They moved at a slow pace, but then again...they didn't seem bothered by his presence when he was within their sights. Of course, he hadn't dared get too close on his own. They likely weren't intimidated by him alone, but what if there were more predators? He was determined to bring one down, so the crimson male made his way to the mouth of the gorge where there was some shelter from the constant wind that blew in the valley. Luckily, there wasn't too much snow falling today, but he knew that could change at any moment what with the freezing Spring they'd been having. Once he found a good spot, he threw his head back and sang a loud and powerful call for any pack mates or loners that might want to join in the hunt. |
