He had taken off North for a time, mostly because the South lands were getting stale for him and he was itching for adventure. He mostly avoided many of the strange, more dangerous creatures on the way, but he had been forced to fight a couple here and there and the result? He had some healing wounds on his body that would certainly scar when healed. The one on his thigh hurt like a bitch, but he cleaned it and kept it clean as much as possible to avoid it worsening, though he didn't know anything about herbs nor where to find them, so of course, he did nothing else. He had passed near the lands where a pack resided, and he was surprised that there was only one in the North. "So much land up here, such a shame." He mumbled before a cold wind whipped snow at him. He turned and sputtered it out, "On second thought, you'd have to be crazy to want to live up here! It's so fucking cold!" He shivered as he pressed on.

It was slow going, but as he went further north, he picked up the trail of something unusual. He paused to take a whiff, nose wrinkling at the pungent smell of something...well, definitely not something he'd ever hunted before. He didn't see anything yet, but the trail was there. Curious (and hungry), Ares decided to follow it to see if it was something he could potentially hunt down. And if he couldn't bring it down, at least he'd have some fun chasing it. The trail would lead him to the Ice Bridge, and there he spotted a massive creature, heading right for it.
