He had left some time ago from the pack in which he was born. A place he felt didn't want him, and part of him wondered even if his family still wanted him...he was fully grown now, at thirty nine inches and his pelt full and thick now that Winter had set in...it was his first winter without his Mother, and truthfully, it was very...different. Translucent green eyes would rise up, gazing at the moon that shone full and bright. It illuminated the whites of his pelt, while shadowing the others. Ears fell back as he walked on, the crisp scent of water reaching him. A chilled wind ruffled his fur, causing the boy to shiver as he hunched his shoulders to try and keep himself warm. Though the sky was clear, his mind was not.

He would walk just a bit more, moments later happening upon a pool water that reflected the moonlight above. Long legs would halt, the tall boy simply staring at the reflections of the pool as his thoughts began to take hold. He remembered the day he left, his sister and brother were there...and his mother...Swallowing, he bit his lip. The boy trying to bite back the sadness that began to overwhelm him. Slowly, he lowered himself onto his stomach, forepaws crossing in front of him as his head lied upon them. "Please..." That single word echoed in his head, that single note that carried all her emotion. It tore at his heart, clawing at his soul. He had felt so terrible after what he said, he felt like he couldn't turn back after breaking her heart...he had ran after that, ran as far as he could and didn't look back...tears fell from his eyes that day, the trail lost upon the wind. And now, tears would fall again. They fell quietly as he closed his eyes, silent sobs shaking his body. Snow fall lightly falling upon his pelt, as if trying to gently soothe him. "I'm...so sorry..." Would they take him back if he returned? Or forever mark him a coward and a traitor for wanting to try and write his own story?

Narsha

She was getting better, slowly but surely. It was a fine line she walked, paws balancing on recovery but one single slip and she would be launched back into the ditch, so she was taking her time. Hyperion was helping of course, it had taken some time but she trusted him enough, not fully mind, but more than she had. She was usually loath to leave without at least telling him where she was going but he looked so peaceful in his sleep that she hadn?t wanted to wake him. Stepping lightly into the cool night the autumn woman shook her pelt out and padded silently away.
Narsha had found this place one late autumn evening, and ever since she had visited every so often. The nights when she worried about her sons mostly, were they doing okay? If Kyung had stayed in Glaciem he would be protected, as much as Isardis didn?t care for his women, he was fiercely proud and protective of his children, even if he was never there for them? But it was Rin she worried for most, the boy had left at such a young age?

As cream paws carried her towards the towering white trees and the sound of gently sloshing water a familiar scent hit her, but she pushed it from her mind, her over active imagination no doubt? But as she laid her good eye upon the figure a head doubt flared up in her. Narsha stopped, ears pulling back, tail tucking as she stared at the wolf, his back turned to her. ?Rincavornon?? She asked, just above a whisper so afraid she might be wrong.

The wind would tug at his fur, as if beckoning him towards something. He would shake it off, the tears streaming down his face. A wolf of his stature shouldn't cry, and yet he was. The young male wasn't sure if he regretted his choices, or if he should be proud of them. Either way, he had been unprepared for such decisions. It was then as he buried his face into his paws, the wind would touch him once more. But it was with more eagerness, with something more. A voice. Brows furrowed, was he hearing things now? Rincavornon. He thought that perhaps it was just his imagination, his mind playing tricks on him again, for it wouldn't be the first time. The boy would hold in more sobs, trying desperately to ignore the whisper. But then, it would come again. Rincavornon? This time, it sounded all too real, though it was but a whisper.

One ear would fall back against his head, as if listening for something. And slowly, ever so slowly, his head would rise. Moistened eyes would turn, seeking out whether or not the wind was truthful in their beckoning, or if it was no more then another dream. What he saw would freeze him in his place, for standing behind him, was his dearest mother. He sat up, eyes never leaving her as he tried to comprehend whether or not she was real. Breath seemed to catch in his throat. Was it truly her? "M-Mom? I-is that you?" He would breath his words, chest heaving with the effort to keep from bursting into tears once more. Had he failed her? Shamed her? He was so afraid that it was something bad. His gaze locked on her own, her remaining eye as beautiful as ever. He wanted so badly to run to her, to press against her soft fur...to be the pup that had been so close to his mother at a younger age.

And finally, he would give in. He would move forward, lanky legs pushing upwards in a swift and clumsy motion as he stumbled towards her. Within a matter of seconds, he was pressing against her, high pitched whines rising in his chest as he nuzzled deeply into her neck fur. Tongue seeking out the contours of her muzzle as affection poured from him, the boy trying so hard to keep the tears from pouring as well, but to no avail. "Mother, I'm sorry..."
