It had been a few days since she came to Valhalla and she felt so out of place. She had stuck to the area where Jinxx and Sephiroth had met her. She did not feel ready to venture farther into the pack. That and often her mind would drift off to Skoll. What if he came back and didn't find her where she was suppose to be but here in this pack? Would he be happy that she was at least safe or attack her for disobey? She laid there at the border, ice blue eyes staring out on the lands unclaimed by Vahalla. She didn't know why but she felt she had to keep and eye out of him. She did not want Vahalla involved in her matters, specially Jinxx or Twig. She didn't want them to know. The sun was setting, casting a warm amber glow over the land, highlighting her figure. Sitting there with her back to Vahalla she fiddled with a small bundle of lavender at her paws. She loved the plant and wouldn't be surprised if her scent began to include its gentle scent with her own. She let her mind drift over the few faces in this pack she knew of. There was Jinxx, Twig, Tyr, and Sephiroth. Sephiroth was the least known to her and part or her wanted to get to know him but was far to shy. She didn't know why but he sparked her curiosity. She shook her head softly, why bother, surely she sparked no interest from anyone. |

He would trek across Valhallan lands, the morning sun rising above the trees. He moved from the plains towards the lake, the winter air cool upon his form. Mist wrapped around his paws as it stirred over the lakes surface, the dull sound of the water lapping at the shores nearby. He had left on a patrol, leaving Leon to spend time with his family and Caerul to do his own things today. Dual toned figure stopped at the edge of the lake at last, the serenity of the lake's placid surface calming him to the core. He had been uneasy lately, mostly due to his lack of sleep. His mind had refused to allow him such a luxury, for he blamed himself for one person who he thought was important in his life...but she had walked away. Because of her, he hardened again into a shell that he had just begun to break out of. To become someone different, but no. He was not allowed even that, and so he would remain distant from the feelings of those he did not wish to hurt again. A scent would reach him, the scent he learned to recognize as Lavender. Though there was something else too, something familiar. Head would turn, peering through the mist that so began to slowly dissipate into the air. He would see the still form of a white wolf, black tipped ears and tail visible through the fog. Tilting his silvery white head, he would notice that it was none other then the girl he accepted at the borders not too long ago. He moved towards her, the X shaped scar on his chest rippling with his steps as his footfalls were quiet, though he made sure to make some noise as he walked so as not to startle her, and not only that but he would walk in the direction of the wind so she would scent him too. Finally as he approached, he stopped a few feet from her. "Hello, Angel. What brings you out here today?" |

Fate fell into her paws throwing the scent of an approaching wolf. Her mind puzzled over it, she knew it vaguely but couldn't match the face just yet. Ears twitched before she turned her head, fixing Sephiroth with her ice blue gaze. A warmth spread through her as she watched him approach, a smile teasing at the corner's of her lips. For once she wouldn't have to reach out, to speak up first, as he greeted her. For a moment all she could do was study his frame, his size and coloration, the scar hiding on his chest and his eyes. Something hide there, locked away but she couldn't tell what. He would ask a simple question, one she wasn't sure how to answer or if she even could. She would look away, glancing across the lake her eyes distant as she thought for a moment. She hadn't told anyone really, Cru knew bits of it but not the full truth of what she went through. Could she ever bring that up? To remember those feelings, the fear and joy, now knowing she had her mind twisted and played? He had left her! He left her broken, dependent on him! Eyes grew cold for a moment before a sigh slipped from her, shoulders sagging. "I..was..looking out for someone. Someone who might cause..trouble.." She said finally. And me more pain She thought to herself. She looked down at her reflection in the water. She knew what she was, what she looked like. But who was she on the inside? She had once known that answer, now she didn't have a clue. She felt like she was once an angel among her family, helping when she could, always there. But since she came here to Ala she felt like her wings had been ripped off her. Inside she wanted to scream in pain, for her loss of self being, for the pain she endured, the distance between her siblings. She felt so lost now. She would turn back to Sephiroth, her eyes clear of anything swirling inside her. "What brings you out so early this morning? Don't you have...someone to share the mornings with?" She asked and honestly she thought he seemed like the one that might already have a mate or something. She looked down at her paws shyly. |

She sat there with her eyes still searching in the distance, praying she would never see the white form of Skoll. And not for her sake but the sake of the pack. Sephiroth's simple words should have been ones that would ease one's mind but not her. Fear shot down her spine and the thought. She did not want Valhalla twisted into her problems, did not wish them trouble and more importantly she was sure blood would be spilled and she could not say she wouldn't break down in a panic attack or defend Skoll. But she kept her eyes away from Sephiroth. Her mouth grew dry and she wished she could speak her fears. But as he answered her questions she would turn her ice blue gaze on him. Though he was covered in scars she could not help but find them appealing. Eyes blinked a few times, trying not to stare and keep eye contact. His first answer was understandable. If she remembered correctly he held a high rank within the pack, Beta or something. She wondered what it was like to have a schedule, a routine everyday that you knew you had to up hold. But his second answer made her look down at her paws, blushing slightly. For a moment she was silent before her gaze flickered back up." I know how it feels. I might have family but ive never been very close to them, or even one sibling. I wish...I was." She would whisper as she finally found the courage to keep a steady gaze with him. "Sephiroth...I fear..the person im looking for will only cause trouble. I don't wish that for anyone, I never meant to cause any trouble for the pack. I...I fear that if he comes for me I can not stand by as blood is spilled.." She added is a rush. She wanted nothing more than to curl in on herself and hide. Her shoulders shagged and head hung down lower as she took a shaky breath. She hadn't been able to tell anyone her fear of Skoll returning till now. Tail wrapped around her paws tightly, eyes looked up is distress from under her lashes, wishing he would understand. |
