Come down, come down sweet reverence

The farther north they went the deeper the snow seemed to get. What Jynn lacked in strength to push through she made up for in the length of her legs. They allowed her to more easily pick a path through the snow while barely getting her belly cold. As they pushed north bands of gray clouds started to block out the sun and cover the silver sky. They went as far as they could until they ran into another pack border. As Jynn looked ahead she saw a rusty old battle ship, half frozen in the gray ice. White and gray bands of ice formed across its hull and spilled out of the port holes.

Pyralis pushed through the snow, her powerful legs helping her carve a path for herself. She'd rather hoped to just follow in her companions footsteps but she could see how silly this was considering her companion was basically walking on stilts. Not that Pyralis was necessarily complaining. The girl had gorgeous legs.

Soon they arrived at another pack border that housed a strange metal vessel in its belly. Pyralis paced along the border. "Oooo, I wonder what they have in there. Bet there are some neat ruins." The human locations always seemed to have unexpected goodies. Still, she knew better than to get into trouble. The pirate gang was small yet and Sparrow would no doubt have her head.

Jynn continued to examine the ship from afar, taking in the strange form as she wondered how humans were able to create such a thing in the first place and for what purpose? In her opinion it looked cold and uncomfortable. Jynn wrinkled her nose. "There are other places we can find that stuff and I bet the metal is absolutely freezing. I'm getting frostbite as it is." Jynn had to admit she was getting ready to head back. She eyed the weather, watching the clouds move in and grow thicker and thicker. She was confident it was going to start to snow soon.

Pyralis turned to face Jynn with her lips drawn into a mocking pout. "Fiiinnee. Party pooper." She posed on three legs as her fourth scratched at her ear for a moment. Truth be told she was getting a bit chilly herself. Her breath was turning to mist before her eyes and the wind was picking up from the north. Pyralis filtered the air through her nostrils. The pack seemed to be of decent size and there were a number of pups. Likely they were sheltering away from the incoming storm. If anything that was a clue for the duo to seek their own shelter. "Well, what do you think. Not much out this way for shelter. Think we can beat the storm?"

Jynn eyed the sky for a bit longer, feeling the wind on her face before she gazed back south. They didn't have a lot of good options. She looked to Pyr. "There really isn't any shelter here unless you want to try and make friends with this pack. I say we make a run for it and see how far we can get ahead of the storm. If we can at least get to the south side of the wall we can shield ourselves from the wind." If they could get farther than that they might have better options but it was hard to say. The wind was picking up and Jynn turned to run for it.

Pyralis nodded as Jynn laid out her thoughts. Much as she'd love to nose around a bit more it was time for them to get going. Getting caught out in the open in a blizzard was a one way ticket to an eternal dirt nap and she was not interested in meeting her maker just yet. There was still to much to see. As Jynn turned to run Pyralis took off after her. She leapt through the snow, pushing forward with practice and a speed far faster than one might assume by looking at her age. For all her seeming laziness she worked at keeping herself in fit shape.
