It was an overcast morning. Dew hung heavy off of the fall leaves and the thin, brown foliage that hadn't yet fully died off in the thicket. Although some of the leaves had shed and fallen, the dense underbrush was still an excellent place to hide. Now that the snow and ice had finally worn off of the land, all that remained was mud - and a bunch of wolves who had fought hard to survive the winter, perhaps neglecting their training in the process. Theory was thinner than she'd been last fall, but so was everyone. Today wouldn't be grueling, boring repetition of exercises - she wanted to keep it light and fun. She'd already gone around and told any fighters who might be interested of her plans. If they'd wanted to participate, they should already be gathered here... Grinning to herself, she let out a few yips and a joyful, short howl to announce her presence. "Alright... warriors who have gathered, you have already chosen your hiding places! Once we're all accounted for, I'll announce your opponent and a set of instructions!" "Speech"

Winter and her yearling birthday was right around the corner for the young Destruction girl. She and her siblings were growing exponentially; she had very nearly reached her full size. Her life was mostly quiet, she spent most of her time with her mother or sometimes her grandfather and great grandmother. She spent a lot of time with her cousin Balthier, but with everything going on with his family they hadn’t talked nearly as much.

She was feeling a little lonely when she heard her aunt Theory call the warriors together. Curious and eager, the young long legged girl raced towards the meeting. Theory already mentioned their training regiment so Shae took her place, trying to keep herself from giggling excitedly.

THERE IS VERY LITTLE LEFT OF ME AND IT'S NEVER COMING BACK

Despite the time spent trying to better himself, the young Destruction hadn't spent much time honing his fighting skills. Thus, when Theory had mentioned she would be hosting a training lesson that would offer up a strange and fun test, he jumped on the opportunity. It had taken longer than he'd like to admit to find the ideal hiding spot. He was big, burly, and stark white for the most part. Not exactly an easy feat, even with the tangled underbrush and detritus all around. Half buried under a scraggly bush, with his ass firmly planted with his hip against its thin trunk, he crouched as low to the ground as he could. It took a great deal of self control not to giggle like a pup and alert everyone with his tail wagging wildly behind him, but he managed to stifle the urge to laugh and tuck his tail firmly under himself. Dark auds low towards his skull, he hoped their dark colouration would help hide his big fluffy head a bit more.

He heard Theory call out and announce her presence, and that meant the exercise would start soon! Shifting his weight, he tried to keep all four paws firmly planted beneath himself and scan his surroundings for an impending attack. He rolled his shoulders forward to bunch the skin and fat of his neck and protect his vulnerable parts from an assault from above.

"Solo"

It only made sense to join in on whatever training Theory had planned for pack's warriors today. Corvus had admittedly neglected his duties to make sure the pack was training regularly - but it'd been a hard year for them all with the winter that had seemingly dragged on and on, and surely would soon come again. He hoped Theory didn't fault him for being less involved as of late, but he knew if she was disappointed with him she would've brought it to his attention long ago. They'd always had that sort of relationship, so he wouldn't worry, instead trying to face this little training session with optimism. It'd be fun to shake off the dust and get back into things and he was curious what Theory had planned for them. He was glad to see Shae and Solo here so far, and wondered who else might show up - surely more wolves were interested in a fun little training session though, he hoped!
