Coming home to you

Sometimes, you just wanted a pair of big strong arms to hold you. Smouldering blue eyes to look into yours with heat, passion, love. The fiery wolf that had held her beneath the stars was exactly the sort of arms she wanted to return to after a long day.
With a strip of bird in her maw - which, no doubt, her bird-hunting Ruga would find amusing - she made her way to his temporary smithy. She pretended the promise of shiny, pretty, jewellery kept her around, but there was more to it than that. She liked the way he looked at her, held her. She padded up to his temporary den and scratched at the door. “Ruga, darling, are you in? I brought a snack. Oh, and duck.”
