Have you wanted an in to the koi fever but didn't want to have any random old koi? Well have I got the deal for you! Our local Koi rake, Raijin, has been off at Iga doing a little reconnaissance and he's about to make a reappearance, but with four little troublemakers (or not) in tow.
It's well known that Raijin has made his way around with many a wolf, something he's not ashamed to say, and that comes with risks. Risks he's never been faced with...until now. 2 years prior, when he'd made his way out of Iga, he unknowingly left behind 2 important trinkets: children. They're the result of a brief fling with a pretty Iga geisha, something Raijin likely doesn't even remember (he was quite deep into the booze), and several months later, after his departure, they arrived into the world. These kiddos likely grew up not knowing who their father was until they got old enough and prodded their mother for the details. It was then that they learned that their sperm donor had been 3rd in line to be Shogun and had disappeared after trying to assassinate the current sitting Shogun himself. How the kids react to this is entirely up to the player. However, one thing is certain, when they catch wind that their father is snooping around, they promptly join him on his way back to Boreas. To make it spicy, Raijin doesn't know they're his children. He simply thinks that they're friends to his niece(s)/nephew(s).
What's this? Niece(s)/Nephew(s)? You heard correctly! The night that Hattori, Raijin and their band was attacked, ultimately leading to Hattori's assumed demise, Raijin's brother and Hattori's best friend, Takeshi, was also killed. Just before leaving to go to their secret meeting, he'd been informed by his lover, whom neither Raijin nor Hattori knew about, they she was pregnant. Takeshi had been ecstatic and had been intending to tell his brother and cousin about it when he'd sadly been killed. These two children will be the last remnants of a wolf who was the glue between Raijin and Hattori. He was their peacemaker, their level head in hard times and the one wolf they both had truly trusted. When Raijin had learned of their existence he'd had to go see them, no matter the cost, and it was then that the two wolves had decided to go with him back to Boreas, Raijin's two unknown bastards tagging along.
Note that Takeshi is Raijin's twin, so they look very similar. They do act very differently, so the previously described personality should be noted. However, the kids can look and act pretty much any way you'd like because there were no specifications on what the mothers' appearances or personalities were! Here is further information on the Koi clan and their respective fathers: click
These kids will all be almost 2 years old and will be able to come on site having well-established family, starting with the princes and princesses of Ashen. Their personalities and appearances are completely up to the applicants, but you must state which kiddos you're applying for.
To make it a little easier, I do have several designs already made up but anyone is welcome to toss their own in! I'm also willing to make references if there's a specific image you have in mind but don't have a means of creating it.

Name: Genji Ryuu
Age: 2
Size: 36" might shoot for 42"
Build: Heavy
Father: Genji Takeshi
Personality: Ryuu is equal parts serious business and laid-back attitude. For the most part, he can be the former and very much is when it comes to important matters. When he's in work mode, Ryuu tends to put all his focus into that, however, depending on the situation he's also been known to bring humor into many situations as well. He likes to joke and laugh because sometimes we all need a break from the seriousness in life. He's dedicated and hard-working though, and his mood can shift like a light switch so always expect the unexpected. One moment he could go from joking and playing around to ready for battle in the blink of an eye. He's extremely loyal to those he considers his brethren and to those he believes are worth being loyal to. His family, of course, are above all else unless they've brought dishonor. At that point depending on who it is, his bond with them, and the crime they committed, he may or may not struggle with accepting this. He's a big guy with a big heart, after all, and he only wishes to improve himself and help guide others to improve themselves as well.
Foolishly brave and confident may be an understatement for Ryuu. He's not afraid of anything or anyone, and may be characterized by others as being "all brawn and no brain." But really, that's what he shows on the outside. Behind his eyes, is a warrior who analyzes each situation at hand, and is very much capable of adapting to it and potentially figuring out a solution for the problem at hand. Not only is he a big beefy boy, but he's a tactician...he just hides the latter so that his opponents let their guard down and underestimate him. He strives to protect and fight for his comrades and his home, and more importantly, his honor and the honor of his clan.
He's generally easygoing, charismatic, and tends to get along with just about anyone. His areas of expertise are diplomatic affairs, politics, strategizing, and of course, he's an excellent tactician. Though again, he kind of keeps this sort of thing under wraps to all but his closest comrades and his family. While outsiders may see him as lazy, bored, and uninterested, Ryuu is always paying attention and observing everything with a keen eye and ear. He's good at manipulating others, though it's never to make them do something bad, rather it's more convincing them more than anything on why this or that would be a bad or good idea. He's good at talking to others when he really wants to, and seldom has a hard time making friends.
Appearance:
Reminiscent of the twilight sky, Ryuu's base coat is a mixture of smoky black and slate blue that works very well together. His head, paws, and hindquarters are darker than his mid-section which takes more of the slate. He blends well with the darkness, though the only slight giveaway might be the red markings that swirl around his face, shoulders & forelegs, and his tail. His ears are tipped with red as well, but that's a little easier for him to hide without the use of camouflage. His coat swirls and blends together, intricately marking the male. Black, blue, and red seem to sync in perfect harmony, with no abrupt stopping points or anything that just doesn't work well together. Even the red markings that are splashed across his crimson eyes do well to accentuate his gaze.
How does this kiddo react to the information on their father?: He's not really sure what to think about it. Assuming the information about his father was public knowledge, Ryuu will likely feel like he has to prove himself all the time, even going as far as training until he can't stand. He'll push himself really hard, often to the point of nearly collapsing from exhaustion. He isn't sure what to believe about his father, however. On one paw, he wants to believe his father was the most honorable and brave there ever was, but on the other, doubt flickers in his mind from the whispers of those who accused Takeshi. He's ashamed of being a traitors son (or so the story goes), and so he seeks the truth to potentially either restore his father's honor, or...well...we'll get to that when we get there :I

Name: Hatsume
Age: 2
Size: Extra-Large
Build: Light
Father: Takeshi
Appearance:
A base of darkest night makes up the majority of the young woman’s visage. Her coat is thick and her face not yet marred with the scars that litter some of her age-mates bodies. Golden orbs stare out from an inky face, only serving to further offset the smattering of golden flecks that litter her coat like glittering stars. Hatsume is tall, standing at 41”, though thin and willowy, rather than curvaceous. She clearly cares for her appearance, never knowingly allowing a hair to fall out of place. She moves with measured control, attempting to make each small gesture precise and deliberate, a clear reflection of her upbringing.
Personality: Well versed in the arts of a kunoichi, the girl is a chameleon, specialising in infiltration and espionage. One minute a maid, the next a miku, she could be your heaven or she could be your hell - your best friend and confidant one minute, then selling your secrets to the highest bidder the next. Her pool of talents is broad having inherited some of her uncle’s smoothness, but you couldn’t force yourself to drown in the puddle that makes up her loyalty. Family was ripped from her at an early age, and now that the girl has grown, she sees her blood as much potential rivals as possible allies, regardless of the circumstances that have forced them together once again. Cash is King, and she wouldn’t lift a paw to save you without payment given in advance. One might question whether the reason no pursuit has yet come has anything to do with her presence (is she still in Iga’s pocket?), but it would be met with a small smirk and not much more. When she isn’t playing a part, it can be difficult to pry words past her lips. She likes to keep her cards close to her chest… after all, mystery is half the allure.
Plans: probably fighting/navigation skills, a bit of a wildcard. I think she has a secret soft spot for her family but she would never let them know it willingly.
How does the kiddo react? I feel like it would have been fairly public knowledge what had gone down? I imagine it might have been part of the reason she was pushed into training at an early age. I envision that teachers would have been harder on Takeshi’s kids (sort of like a traitors blood type deal, gotta work harder and be better to prove you’re worth keeping around). Open to suggestions and plots with potential siblings and cousins, but I don’t imagine she would outwardly react, there would be some internalised angst about it/only knowing Iga’s side of the story, early brainwashing to make her squinty of mums side of events.

Name: Kuroo Shima
Age: 2
Size: 36"
Build: Medium
Father: Raijin Genji
Personality:
Similar to his father, Kuroo is a charmer. Highly intelligent with a smooth vocabulary, it is easy for him to persuade others to get what he wants. Kuroo loves to give compliments as much as he likes to receive them. While there is typically not vile reasoning behind his words, he can use them to manipulate others. On the outside, he likes to portray that he isn't the smartest wolf in the room. Growing up with several siblings, he knows being pushy and a smartass isn't the best way to go about getting what you want. With a quick-witted tongue and jovial personality, he makes friends easily and could be one day used as an ambassador between packs.
Unlike his father (words from his mysterious mother), Kuroo is not a lover of all kinds. Having rumors and stories fed to him since a young age, Kuroo protects his heart with everything he's got. Saving himself for the right one, he promises himself that he'll never touch booze or anything to inhibit his sense. As well, he has found himself looking more at the males than he has females as of late. Finding that females make better friends who love to gossip and hang out while the males just want to fight and prove who's tougher. It wouldn't take much for him to fall into bed with another man than a woman. Something about the way their muscles ripple and eyes light up in a battle that gets his heart beating.
His mother's side of him is the emotional, hardened, and trustworthy being that will take a bullet for anyone. Good-natured by default, Kuroo has somewhat of a hero mentality. He is the protector of his siblings, ready to fight their battles and ensure they see another day. Wearing his heart on his sleeve in his softest moments, Kuroo is the best right-hand wolf anyone could ask for. Supportive, tender, and an all-around caring and giving sort of guy.
Appearance:
Mellow pink eyes stare out from a whitened facade disrupted by vitiligo. At birth, Kuroo was born a medium grey with darker grey spots in various spots. Light striping on darkened paws and over his shoulders stands out when not covered in dirt. As he aged, the minimal white spotting has developed. At the young age of two, his white markings cover multiple spots of his body including a mask over his face, his ears, the tip of his tail, his legs, and other random spots. When he gets older, they may grow larger, but will never fully consume his body. His fur is normally thick and fluffy except in the spots that have lost pigment. Where it is white on his body, the hair is thinner and rough in texture. Kuroo wears his loss of pigment in pride and doesn't allow that to be a hit to his confidence.
How does this kiddo react to the information on their father?:
At first, Kuroo will be hurt. He will question why his father didn't want him. After all, Kuroo is strong, intelligent, and worthy of being around. Through his prodding of his mother for more information, the tales of Raijin's late-night ventures with booze and women will taint his rose-colored glasses. This makes Kuroo want answers. What had hurt Raijin to the point of spreading his seed so far across the land? Who is his real family? Third in line to Shogun? Attempted assassination? The wild world of his father's side drives his curiosity and anger.

Finished!!
Name: Genji Usagi
Age: 2
Size: Medium (30”)
Build: Light
Father: Genji Raijin
Personality: Much like the flame-licked orange that scales his limbs, the male is a deadly combination of fury, aggression, coarseness, and standoffishness. Much of his channeled anger comes from the frustration over his appearance, which is constantly being pointed out by those around him. Even if their comments mean no harm, he takes them as jabs to his character, and has a tendency to snap or lash out verbally at others. This makes it difficult to make close friends, much less romantic relationships. However, the lucky few who don’t tease him eventually might see the softer side of him — a sweet;y awkward soul who does his best to make one feel special - and, for that love interest, well, loved. His self-imposed isolation and distancing from others in some aspects makes his mannerisms a bit awkward and clumsy, but eventually he’ll become affectionate and as sweet as can be. He really has a soft-hearted soul to him, and the desperation for somebody to accept him as he is shimmers in his contrasting cool, chartreuse gaze. It’s just that that yearning, loving heart has been wrapped up with thorns amd barbed wire, so if you want to get to know him, you really need to work at it and gain his trust. Years of being mocked for who he is has made his faith in others, and his patience for them, wear thin. He is also an avid lover of fish, and will spend his free time searching for ponds and bodies of water to just watch them swim. He refuses to eat fish as he considers them special, compared to most other creatures. Despite being reminded of them due to his name, nicknames, and his appearance, he does love rabbits as well, and won’t hunt them. He appreciates their beauty, their movements, their grace, and incorporates his own special move in spars and combat called the ‘rabbit kick’, a powerful thrust of his hind legs into his opponent’s side or gut to render them stunned. He is an enigma, and his anger is akin to beans in a brimming pressure cooker, but talk to him for a bit and you’ll see the gentler, more refined side of him.
Appearance: ref here Usagi can be defined as a lean mean fighting machine. His frame is thin, but far from lanky, and his near constant devotion to training and exercising has blessed him with tendrils of pure muscle and sinew that wrap over a light, but durable skeleton. His face is streamlined, with a fairly long muzzle and sharp eyes to match - the build almost makes him look more like a slightly larger fox than a wolf. The streamlined look continues through his body and tapers down his legs, which don’t look like much but are brimming with sheer strength and power. His base coat is a rich charcoal, beautiful on its own, but paired with the raging orange-red koi markings on his legs and the top of his head, and the snow alabaster painting his chest and tail tip, his heritage as a koi wolf is a dead giveaway. His eyes contrast the wildfire of organized, stunning chaos on his body as a soothing, minty chartreuse color, soft like moss on a stone. They are sharp, cold, and unforgiving, but also shimmer with a hidden sense of loneliness and a full heart of love, friendliness and affection to give somebody. Too bad it’s his other features that make him constantly on edge and self-conscious, though, as his tail is a sad little nub, and his right ear is flopped over because the cartilage in it never fully developed. His mother must’ve had a cruel sense of humor, setting him up for a lifetime of taunting by naming him Usagi, quite literally "rabbit" or "hare". The nickname "Bunny" sticks to him like tree sap, hard to get rid of no matter how hard he tries to wipe it away. These flaws, or so he sees them as, haunt him like little ghosts, not helping his crabby character.
How does this kiddo react to the information on their father?: He’s disgusted by his father, and finds his loose behavior appalling. Not that he has any polite manners himself, but he feels he knows better than his old man. The drama surrounding his family and the Iga Clan only further complexes things, and the whole plot, except for what he needs to know, is lost on him. He knows, and doesn’t care. Nor does he care for his father - clearly he didn’t want him, so why should he attempt to even find out who he is? Good riddance, he thinks.

Personality:
Lawful Evil
A cold exterior makes it hard to get close to this man. Hes a sign of strength, nobility and dignity. With little regard of those not of the Shinobi he lacks empathy for others. Whatever it takes to uphold a good image in the family and thats what hes about protecting his family name.
Not one to beat around the bush he is brutually honest in his conduct. The things he says can ultomately make or break any man. Sly with tongue he can be charismatic when it calls for such a thing. Yet he can also be brutually egotistic and boastful. Believing that he is above others he holds himseld at a pedastal.
Despite this, he is a level headed wolf with the ability to learn and put in work where it is due. Especially good at spying he can play the part when needed. If it comes to the opposite sex well, he can be promiscuous as the thought of progeny coming from him will spark further intelligence in the line. All pups regardless of mother are his and he will fight with his life for this.
Betrayal us not taken lightly. If sepukku is not an option Mitsukki will try to uphold the iga law(if not his own) hunting those who sully the family name is a sport. Hes brutual and cruel with this, his lack or care for life plays a role. Those who are weak deserve to be culled, physically show your worth and then maybe hell make it a quick death.
(Personality subject to change when in play)
Appearance:
The large white man takes pride in his appearance. From the tip of his stumped tail to his nose its obvious he is built for battle. Strong rippled muscles sitting underneath a white coat splashed with a vibrant array of colors. From the family like he hold blue three different hues of turqoise splattering his body. Mainly that of his back, the bridge if his nose and his hind quarters. Yet what is remarkable to him is his stripes that break up his body. The black begins at his tail, splitting off to cover the top of his turqoise and white fur in an array of sporadically placed stripes.
With this he hold scars on his legs and the corners of his right eye. Luckily not impacting his vision he considers them a mark of a true Shinobi. His cyan blue gaze is cold and callous, forever judging what is in front of it. If not for this appearance he feels that it shows honor to his family name.
How does this kiddo react to the information on their father?: not entirely fond of the idea of being a bastards child, hes always wanted to know his father for the sake of pride. He wants to try to teach his father to be a better shinobi because Mitsukki values customs. He feels like its the only exception hed make otherwise hed want to kill his father if not for the fact Mitsukki actually wants to get to know his sire.(subject to change through rp ofc)

Eraithus has a permanant bend in his tail, giving it a crooked appearance. Some of his art does not depict this.
he has a female snowy owl by the name kespie, it is assumed shes around regardless of mention.
