Come down, come down sweet reverence

Jynn was getting in a good workout, that was for sure! Once she was settled back in Auster for the remainder of the winter she was going to avoid any place with mountains. She had been heading east when she'd taken the wrong path in the Fenrir's Maw mountain range. Eventually she just opted for up to see if she could get her bearings. Well, then curiosity got the better of her and she started exploring some tunnels, one thing leading to another until she exited the large tunnel mouth to a most peculiar sight.

Bare brown rock stretched out before her but off to one side was a strange gray building. No doubt it was the work of humans. The gray stone formed four simple walls and a slanted roof but little pillars jutted out where the roof joined the walls. It was a tall building and she hesitated for a moment. Jynn was higher up than she'd ever been, she could see the very tip of the mountain just ahead of her, jutting up from the base of bare earth the building inhabited. When she looked down all she could see were piles of gray clouds. The sky was a muted blue, fading to a bright white where she gathered the sun was. Up at the top of the sky she was beginning to see stars appear. Oh no, was it that late already? She glanced again at the building. Would it be a safe place to stay for the night?
