Aurielle Adravendi

The discovery had come as a major shock. She’d been padding under one of the stones in the Moor’s circle, eyes to the sky instead of the ground, since she’d walked the same path so many times in the past, but this time, she’d found air under her paws and fallen headlong through a hole at the base of the stone with a sharp squawk and scrabble of frozen soil.

The Spirit sprawled with a thump on the ground, gathering her breath and listening before she pulled herself to her paws and peered up at the moonlit opening above. Not too difficult to climb up, but an uncomfortable height to fall down when you weren’t expecting it.

Carefully, Aurielle rolled her shoulders and checked her limbs as Ayodele jumped through the opening and joined in the examination. A bruise here and there, but nothing worse. Turning, Aurielle gazed around at the dank space around her. Had she not glowed bright as the full moon in the sky above outside, she’d have been completely blind without a torch of some sort.

It was a strange place, and her nose picked up the smell of bone long devoid of flesh. So, so old it smelled more of earth than bone. Slowly, she padded through the room, gazing over it with wide eyes while Ayodele clung closer to her neck, wide emerald eyes taking in the sights.

The walls were recessed, but not by nature. No… man’s hands had touched here. Man’s bones lay here. Her steps spilled with a suddenly held breath as her blazing blue-white light brushed the hollow sockets and gap-toothed grin of a human skull hidden behind vines that hadn’t been withered by winter’s cold above.

Tearing her eyes away from the visage, she gazed around herself once more. Halls went off in all directions, and she wondered just how lost she could get without her usual method of leaving a glowing strand of mane or tail hair behind in the walls.

At first glance, Aurielle's coat is pure white.. Her fur has an iridescent quality (like moonstones) where the fur shimmers different colors under various angles of light: in this case, the colors shown by rainbow moonstones. Not one hair on her hide is a solid unnatural color, but, ya know, it's really hard to convey that in still art :P
Aurielle's English is heavily laden with an Irish, Swedish mixed accent.
Her family is allowed to crash all her threads, Private and Open.
As of Autumn Year 14, Aurielle glows with a bright blue-white bio-luminescence in her fur, and bears a marking over her left eye - see profile and reference.
