Meissa

She moved through the dusk, approaching the waterfall she'd heard in the distance that day she'd stopped at the hot springs and met the tall man. She could not help but be curious of the distant quiet rumbling, endless in its call though there was no answer.

Here, the water did not fall in one great sheet, crushing any who might walk under it with its massive presence. Instead, it rippled. As she approached it, she saw the way the water ran down slowly, unlike many other waterfalls she recalled seeing and hearing about. She approached the pools, careful not to step too quickly as to slip on the slick surface and fall into the water.
