It was a good day for a walk, Hazel figured. She'd been pretty cooped up since the whole getting in trouble for trespassing thing, followed by the whole getting adopted thing. Her days had been colored with all sorts of assorted things, mostly helping that weird little fluffy healer in her garden. How many weeds could there even be in a garden? Chores were interspersed with things that were more interesting, and there were always snacks... and there was always Bas to bother.

Bas... maybe Bas would want to come too! Seer said she could go exploring as long as she took someone with her, and Bear seemed to be Hazel's preferred company lately. "Lis," the pup called, "Bear and I are going 'sploring, do you wanna come with us?" Was she yelling? Probably. Still, she wagged her tail as she scooped up a daisy from the ground at the border between the Woods and the Plains, holding it in her teeth. It was pretty, not quite pristine, but the petals were in good shape. "What do you think, Missus Bear?" She deferred to her borrowed companion, showing her the flower.

The bear turned her attention to Hazel, having lumbered along behind her towards the border at Hazel's request. She was well accustomed to following about the younglings of the Armada. At the girl's question, the bear leaned forward, giving the flower a delicate sniff. At least, it had intended to be so. Her huffed breath snatched the flower from the girl's paw and lodged in the entrance of her nose. She paused, and sneezed delicately into her paw. Holding out the now lightly sagging flower to the reddish wolf.

It was about then that Basilisk appeared, “Coming!” he barked, not one to turn down an adventure. He paused at the sight of the bear holding out her paw with a dampish looking flower, before shaking his head, and trotting on past the two. “Come on, we're wasting daylight!” he said, even if this was Hazels adventure.

Hazel giggled softly as the flower stuck to Bear's nose, happy to have her company. If Seer (sir) was going to send someone to look after them, the red and pale girl was happy it was her. They'd have a good time, a good time indeed! She accepted the flower back, grinning as she did. It would still look lovely tucked among the other flowers of whatever crown they decided to pull together. Hazel could make them matching flower crowns! It would be excellent, she decided, right then and there.

As Bas appeared and then went to take the lead, Hazel grumbled lightly. "We were waiting on you!" Exaggeratedly, she rolled her eyes to Mrs. Bear as if to say ugh, boys! Her pace was a bit slower, more of an ambling than a crisp jog. Hazel was peering at the ground, looking intently for more flowers. Mostly white, but really, whatever pretty things caught her eye would do today. "What were you even doing that took you so long to get over here," it wasn't accusatory, more curious than anything, as she scooped up another stem of pale flowers.

"Missus bear will you hold these?" Hazel returned to her side, offering the small bundle of flowers to the spectacled companion. Her words were muffled around them, the bundle having grown mostly too large to speak clearly around. The young girl's eyes sparked with an idea. "What about Daisy for a name?" A child's gaze on the borrowed companion, excited and expectant.
