Another day, another venture into the world around her. Asteria was still trying to get her feet under her in a new land, and it seemed that the only other wolves she'd met were children. It was unlikely that they'd have the answers she sought. Still, that was okay. In all, she was okay. She'd find Fiori, she'd be able to complete her quest, as long as she didn't stop moving for too long. No, not for too long. Never for too long. Wandering like this, it was all Asteria knew. It was all she'd ever know, probably. And really, was that so bad? She didn't think so. The star soaked girl couldn't think so. She drifted through the Emerald Valley, knowing that water had to be nearby. The sound of a river wasn't so far off, and prey here seemed to be abundant. Careful to avoid the large animals, as it was too much for a lonesome creature like herself, she'd be able to catch a small meal before daylight faded away completely. Hell, even if it did fade, there should be fish in that river and they'd be easy enough to catch regardless. A sunset before her, coloring the sky with reds and purples. What a pretty one it was. Ah yes, the river. Asteria spotted it as she crossed a rise in the land, her steps across the ground confident and unwavering. It was a welcome sight, and she made her way toward it. Maybe it wouldn't be such a bad spot to camp for the night, too. |
