Eligos moved along the trail through the fog-enshrouded forest. While he didn't appear immediately alert, his senses were trained on the forest around him. He hadn't had the best encounters in this Fallen One damned place, and he didn't need to be ambushed by some ghost again. Of course, it wasn't a ghost at all, but his paranoia was nonetheless vindicated rather shortly. He paused at the faint sound of movement among the branches that did not quite match the wind, and then without warning sprang to the side. The creature that hurtled down from the trees in an attempt to land astride him and break his neck instead slammed into the ground, already turning on him to attack with sharp-clawed paws and a yowl. Eligos spun to face the creature, seeing it clearly for the first time as the mist swirled away for a moment with their movements. A big male jaguar - out of place in the more northern climate - snarled at him as he snapped his jaws at the paw and drew it back before Eligos could catch hold of it. Eli found himself somewhat regretful that he'd left Cypher and Kida sleeping - he might be able to chase off a jaguar alone but not without damage. And while the jaguar was more wary now that he was alert, it showed no signs of wanting to back down...

Reaching full maturity should be such a nice event in a wolf's life, to celebrate and do so with the loved ones. But sadly for the Klein that wasnt on her reach, mother gone, siblings disperse and a rotting moral was making her more and more prone to violent outburst, born from rage and frustration, seeing everyone leave her behind, forget about her and that wasnt something the woman wanted. Growing tired of that, eyes once full of personality stuck within. Jaws parted in anger, anger mostly to herself. Perhaps she was the problem there? Why else did everyone left?
While her thoughts suffered from these doubts, she heard noises, rising her head she spotted a man and a jaguar with threatening features. Well perhaps this could be the right thing to do for taking her mind away from her problems atleast for now. She approached, hackles rising, ears flat and lips curling up to reveal her teeth. She didnt care of the stranger wanted her help or not, she was doing this mostly for her own amusement not to help him at all.

A crackle of underbrush momentarily distracted both Eligos and his opponent, and Eligos was able to throw a swift glance to see a young wolf there, hackles up and snarling. The jaguar seemed to do a mental calculation, as though trying to decide if it was worth continuing the fight when outnumbered, but the other wolf's youth and the fact that she hadn't engaged seemed to satisfy the beast that it had time to finish off Eligos. Eligos objected, strenuously. He pressed the cat with an attack of his own, maneuvering it so the jaguar's back was to the stranger in the hopes that she would attack.
