just a little dusting

Audra awoke with a bundle of energy to get their room cleaned up. Blinking her one good eye a few times, she peered around the room that she shared. It was cozy and it was theirs. With Avantika's armor hung neatly on the wall and practicing rug square in front of the large mirror, it seemed Audra was the one who needed to tidy. From the stress of everything that had taken over her brain, she noticed how unruly her herb station had become. Giving her legs a good stretch with toes splaying out, she rolled over to gently touch a nose to Tika's cheek.

Hopping down from their bed, Audra moved first over to the balcony where she could watch the sunrise over the sea's horizon. A warm brush of salty air tickled her fur as she set about tidying her plants and preening the ones that hadn't made it. Humming quietly under her breath, she wondered if today would be a good day to have their conversation. Or maybe they would just talk and have another good day of just being around each other. The summer festival had been a nice time to relax and forget about everything that happened from day to day.

Once the balcony was back into top shape with large leaves fanning over the railing's edge and perfumey scents filtering into the room, she turned back to see if Tika had woken yet. Shuffling her paws slightly, she could feel a bit of anticipation in her. Would Tika be upset about her going to Art? Or had Art been able to help quell the nerves inside her girlfriend's mind? She doubted it as the love of her life always worried about something. The thought brought a smile to her lips as she wandered over to the table where her herbs and medicinal plants were laid out.
