Perhaps it wasn’t the best idea, but Raijin had decided to make a quick pit stop at the Ashen border and camp out nearby. He wanted to check in on the Ventori brood, and especially Venom herself, even if he wasn’t necessarily welcome. He’d always admired the dark woman for her fortitude and grace, and honestly it had stumped him how she had ended up with his cousin. Obviously he had been right to question it, but it didn’t make it any easier to know that a family had been split up.
Once again, Raijin toed the border. He flexed his toes on the familiar earth at the border of the shrine before tilting his head back and calling for Venom. The notes held plenty of room for her to show up or not, he wouldn’t be offended if she didn’t. This wasn’t a business call, this was a friend checking in on a friend.

The voice that called her from the border wasn’t one that she had expected. Venom’s attention was taken from her patrol completely, her mind was spinning with plots and theories. What did Raijin of all wolves, need from her and Ashen? He called for her, somewhat loosely almost giving her an out to ignore him if she so chose. Not that he could ever command her presence, but the courtesy was appreciated. He came on good terms but Venom remained a little wary as her white gloved paws brought her to him there at the shrine’s border.
She couldn’t know what his desire was so her expression was one of mild curiosity. Venom was determined to withhold everything else until she was sure of his motives. He didn’t smell like Hattori or that pack at all though, and gave no sign he was here on behalf of his cousin. She lifted a brow and tilted her head slightly as she greeted him. "Hello, Raijin.” Her question silent but expecting an answer all the same, why was he here.
"Venom"
