Another purple wolf?

Chade roamed the landscape, scenting the boundaries of the pack for any hint of predators that needed to be chased off or killed.  Honestly, if Chade was the one who came across them he’d be aiming for the kill option.

Traveling next to Chade was a female cheetah, she was lean and still growing but past the point of the kitten fur, they start with.  He’d spent a good bit of his time this season teaching her to hunt and now he was listening with a smile as she shared a story of a hunt she did on her own.  Swift was quite proud of herself and Chade wasn’t going to take away the moment from her.

They still needed to work on her fighting other predators as she lost her confidence against larger predators.  All in good time.  As Swift talked he focused on his job, looking for threats.  Hunting and fighting were as close as the yearling came to play the majority of the time.
