Reflection

The dark night gave way to silver moonlight as it filtered through the drifting clouds. The water, ever grateful, returns the favor by reflecting the moon towards the sky. Except it get caught on the cave walls and the sentiment dies along the way.

Sparrow tapped the water with her paw, sending ripples across the mirror surface and scattering the light further. Had she been a more poetic wolf, she might have given more thought to the situation, but being herself, she only wished that she was doing something more fun than waiting for a fish to swim into her jaws.

She needed to think of the pack's next move...
