Sours

The orchard was always a good place to be and the winter always served up citrus and bitter fruit that couldn't be found the rest of the year. Currently, Sparrow had friar high up in a tree, tossing down fruit for Sparrow to grab and throw into the make-shift cart they had made. This way they could take these back to the coast and make all of her favorite sours with them, and probably see if they had any other use via modesty. Maybe, when the pups were a little older, she could convince them to eat a slice and she could watch and stifle laughter as their faces puckered, hoping only that Modesty would forgive her one day for the mental harm on her children.
