Ever since their last trip out to Lazuli Falls, Reila did feel different but also didn't act differently. She wasn't side eyeing Chimera across the island, she wasn't expecting anything from him. Maybe it seemed like nothing had happened between them if only in quick encounters or usual routine duties but that wasn't the case at all. Reila could feel butterflies in her stomach anytime Chimera was within sight of her, and she did find herself always wanting more when she looked at him or late at night when she was alone in her den. She wouldn't show it on the outside.

It would be a little different today when she would approach Chimera with silent eyes at first, that usual content grin but as if nothing more sensual was on her mind. This very moment there wasn't, but she was feeling that new found way as if she were young and in love maybe. Something like that, she probably wouldn't have called it that.

She wouldn't say anything to him unless he asked, her gaze inviting as it had been before on many occasions. Her target tonight was just simple gazelle to bring back to Fenmyre. But she was looking forward to spending time with Chimera again, whether it was casual or more enticing, she'd be happy either way.

"Reila"

The change in Reila had been noticed. She still held her grin, but Chimera noted more genuine smiles on the small fae's lovely features. Their time together had been long awaited and well deserved. The man had no regrets whatsoever and he felt as though Reila didn't either. He didn't avoid her. He never had to begin with. Their interactions in passing were pleasant but Chimera felt the need for more.

Just as he was thinking of her, Reila approached him. The dire brutes tail began to lightly swish back and forth as she drew near, shooting that grin at him. She said nothing. He said nothing. He did lean down and place a lick along the edge of her maw, however. No doubt she was trying to whisk him away again and Chimera had no issue with that whatsoever.

Reila turned and began leading him away like the little vixen that she was and Chimera left word with his dogs that he would be leaving for a day or two. The black and white giant followed the tiny white, grey and tan fae as she led them into the cedars, the land that they would soon claim. He had some things to claim first though. A big paw stopped the bob-tailed fae and he turned her, that paw moving up to bring her muzzle upwards so that he could claim her lips with his. A growl of content rumbled between their kiss which he eventually broke, a grin on his own maw. "Your plan for today?" One brow arched as he waited for the fae to share her intentions for the day. Were they hunting or did she just want alone time with him?

"Chimera"

Walking out to the falls in silence was nothing new for them. Reila was typically one of few words, or at least not for useless rambling. It was a part of her slave past, but it wouldn't seem that way with how she held herself and looked back to Chimera with a smile. She was quite different from the usual slave, she was confident or at least seemed so in most ways. It was mostly just the haze that controlled her, and the specific ways they punished her. No one would probably know her history unless she told them.

Her gaze only looked up at Chimera as he stopped her and pulled her around to kiss her. She wouldn't fight him, in fact quite the opposite though maybe expected. She kissed him back too, lids fluttering to lock eyes with him as he rumbled contently. She did feel that tingle, those butterflies or whatever strange and cliche way to feel when he kissed her. She would turn away though with a side eye, maybe a little a teasing which was always just a part of her nature. "I brought you out here to hunt some gazelle." With her back towards him, her cheek turned again to look at him with that daring grin, "Did you have plans for today?"

"Reila"

Reila kissed him back eagerly then spoke playfully to him, asking if he had any plans. "Yes," he rumbled, pull her lithe frame against his own again. Chimera nibbled at the edge of the woman's jaw, his paw running down her back lightly. "I hope you're ready to break in our new home." The words were laced with lusty intentions that he thoroughly planned on following through with.

"Lead the way, mighty huntress." The brute made a sweeping motion and when she moved past him, he gave the fae's shapely rump a little swat. Not being able to help himself, he gave her spine a little nibble, then tried to make himself focus on the task at hand. She wanted to hunt, so they would hunt. Later, he would hunt something else and he hoped that Reila was ready to be his prey.

"Chimera"

Reila didn't say anything as he may have expected her to give into his very prominent desires. And she would, he had her turning. For now he'd just get a lascivious side eye as she turned away from his touch to move on with their hunt. It was easy for her, but it was her way of teasing him. Her eyes could only tell him how much she'd want him after the fact, or now for that matter. But she had to hold up her own ways of acting unaffected by him. It may have been like some sort of chase, she wasn't so hard to get though she just liked to play that way.

They wandered out into the fall's lands on practiced quiet paws, the two working together silently to track and find their target. Well, Reila was working, she wasn't looking back too often at Chimera to check in on him. She was on the trail of the few gazelle that were nearby. And soon they would be in sight. The to stalkers moving in, Reila still only turned her head towards Chimera without actually looking at him just as if he could read her mind. They had done this enough times at least. She'd stand to make her way around the small herd to take her place before the chase. Taking a glance to Chimera with a familiar smile she'd then rise to get the gazelle to stir. Driving them towards Chimera, they would have their reward soon enough.

"Reila"

Chimera released a deep, rumbling purr, the corners of his maw lifting in a grin as Reila fixed him with a look and walked away. He knew that he could have her right this very moment if he pushed, but he chose to get the hunt out of the way first. Then there would be nothing to pull their attention away from one another. Besides, he had some things to bring her up to speed on once they were finished.

The black and white giant followed the small woman as she did her tracking. She looked for prey and he looked for danger. Thankfully there didn't seem to be any danger lurking about, but there were gazelle. The big man crouched amidst the cedars and waited for Reila to get into place. He saw her rise and the ungulates began to stir. They rushed right towards him, worried about the predator on their heels rather than the one in front of them. Big mistake. His teeth were waiting to end them.

"Chimera"

Reila darted forward driving the gazelle into Chimera's direction for an easy taking. She wasn't sure if he'd want to go for the chase or a quick kill but it was no worry in her mind. She'd like to hunt the gazelle like she had brought him out here for. But now with what Chimera had in mind for their time together she wouldn't be so disappointed had their hunt gone south. She'd still try her hardest for the duty she had for the pack.

As she drove them up towards Chimera, he seemed ready for the quick and instant kill so in response she leaped up from the ground onto the gazelle heading straight for him causing it to fall down onto it's shoulder with her on the other side. She'd hold it down in some kind of offering for him to take it's life. It was more for her than him though, she was much better than she was when she arrived on the island but she would rather him take the kill if he seemed so eager to. She wasn't blind, but she wouldn't really know that deeper and darker desire he had. She'd be happy to take her place just her over the struggling gazelle's shoulder and give him what he wanted. Beyond the hunt.

"Reila"
